N3CR0
You won't...simples. Who knows what these YT'bers do to their connection to get such good hit reg? Many on here have speculated but no one knows for sure.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 25, 2021 Administrators Share Posted November 25, 2021 Just my 2cents, thought I would analyze this a bit more and provide more than a networking explanation. Couple of things to note directly from the video: Above 200 FPS at all times GPU/CPU times are steady between 3 - 4 ms at all times 35 ms ping, now this isn't low as it could be but it's very steady and has 0% packet loss, perhaps having a server with slightly higher ping than what he could get is putting him on that right side of lag compensation, a lot of people have suspected that helps. The computer he is playing on is barely breaking a sweat even through fast actions and when encountering enemies, the PC is definitely not a limiter here. At that frame rate he is seeing things much more smoothly than someone on 30 FPS and can therefore more accurately judge a players movements, see them slightly earlier etc. Then keep in mind that he likely has a monitor with a high refresh rate capable of actually benefiting from that FPS you can begin to see how the gameplay is better for him. Here is a short video courtesy of NVIDIA showing the differences/benefits of high FPS/refresh rate: Keep in mind the lowest they show there is 60 FPS so if you're on 30 FPS it's even worse. Making videos/streaming/playing is his job, he will have the best equipment there is so the PC and monitor isn't a stretch in terms of speculation - you can even see an entire 2 monitor PC setup behind him that isn't even used. Then when it comes down to connection, what I suspect is they have multiple internet lines coming in (discussed with some creators and it definitely happens), 1 just for streaming/playing with nothing else being used and the other for everyday devices/usage - again, this is their job, they want and need the best of the best - if your internet goes down or you appear to be lagging that could be vital time where you're missing out on subscribers etc. You can certainly achieve or at very least get very close to the internet stability he is seeing using the router but it's the extremely high FPS/refresh rate, dedicated internet line etc which is harder to copy. Also for videos especially they will only pick the very best games they've had, they're not going to show you the games where the hit detection wasn't as good etc. I would say if you watched his stream all night that there are at least a couple of times where the games he has don't match the quality seen on his videos. If you want to look at some settings @TODDzillaInLA provided what he does to get great game play and others are finding success with it so maybe give that a try: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/37795-what-determines-hit-detection/?do=findComment&comment=323236 Infoseye and TODDzillaInLA

When i go on a higher ping server its almost unplayable but then when i got onto the server closest im getting anywhere between 14-17 ms... which is good but everyones playing as if they are a world champion or im getting supermelted
Max2110
I have had the worst experience with my Xr500 that I just bought last week. I have done almost everything. I set congestion control to 70%(I had tried multiple other %) I set upnp on and off to test. I tried port fowarding and dmz. I tried prioritizing all call of duty ports which worked at first(I had the most amazing bullet reg) but from the second day after prioritizing the ports I had the worst bullet reg. I tried almost everything possible. My reg was amazing the first day using the xr500 and from the second day onwards just garbage. And don't get me started playing on ether net cable which makes me shoot marshmallows. Someone from the netduma team please advise me on what to do. I'm even willing to pay for someone to optimize my connection where u don't shoot first and die first. I'm a really good player with probably the fastest reaction time you would see(I'm not joking) I play on a 20+ sensivity on console with a controller. So no its not about skill it's about connection. I have a standard 3 ping to my isp and 27 ping in game to the call of duty servers
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 25, 2021 Administrators Share Posted November 25, 2021 Try what Todd suggested, seems to have worked well for a few people and they're not things you'd necessarily think to do.

It sucks. can you post a screenshot of your FPS? and do you mind describing your setup and what steps you have taking to try to make your issue better? Iron's fps fluctuates 130 to 160 and like him and many other streamers they make their enemies look like they are standing still because of the hardware acceleration, 200+ fps you should be moving. It should look like you have dead silence on all the time lol. to achieve such a high fps you shouldn't be having any latency issue to cause no hit detection Nalsano_
