Netduma Liam
Can you try a different speed test service such as Fast.com and see if you're getting the same problem?

Bert
So much packet loss could be a MTU issue. I set up a OpenVPN server on my XR700 and client here in Asia and found that I had to drop the client side MTU to 1400 instead of 1500. If you open CMD under windows and type: "Ping www.google.com -f -l 1500" and see what you get. If you get fragmentation, keep lowering the number from 1500 until you get a useful value. Then alter the parameter mtu-tun to whatever value you found. One other thing I changed is using TCP/IP instead of UDP. UDP is faster in theory but TCP is more reliable. On long distance connections TCP can be better. But in your case inside Germany I doubt it matters.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 10, 2021 Administrators Share Posted November 10, 2021 Have you tried connecting using both TCP and UDP and seen if one gives you more packet loss than the other?
Victor-Yout
sorry im not too much into this. how do i control this?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 10, 2021 Administrators Share Posted November 10, 2021 So the one you're using at the moment is UDP, you should be able to download the TCP one from Express
