You can factory reset from the interface. When you did it using the hardware button did you hold the reset down for 30 seconds? When you accessed it did you go through the setup wizard?

OK, I'd suggest doing this through the browser on a PC. If access the interface this way, does it force you to go through the initial setup?

Okay lets start this all fresh again:

  1. Downgrade to a firmware where the option is available
  2. Download the latest firmware to the PC
  3. TFTP the firmware onto the router using a PC
  4. Factory reset from the interface on a PC
  5. Access the interface from the PC once the reset is complete and go through the setup wizard

Once complete, do you have the option available?

You're letting auto upgrade upgrade you to the latest, download the file and upgrade manually/use TFTP. Also you just need to factory reset after the latest firmware has been upgraded to.You're letting auto upgrade upgrade you to the latest, download the file and upgrade manually/use TFTP.

They're still determining the DHCP issues using the XR500 at the moment. Do you have any issues with getting an Open NAT on multiple devices?

Use TFTP: https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP to upgrade to the same version again: https://kb.netgear.com/000062702/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-52 then do a factory reset from the interface. That will give it the freshest install possible and it should be there after that.

I responded to your PM
