bagsta69 Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 I. never realised that selling a house was so complicated, my late moms house had 30 viewings in 7 days and we got a buyer at the asking price, now the paper work has come through and they are asking if we are leaving the light switches and electrical sockets?????? WTF, who takes the light switches and electrical sockets. ??????
iAmMoDBoX Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 I'll buy it without the light switches or electrical outlets... I've been house shopping for well over a year now
bagsta69 Posted October 4, 2019 Author Posted October 4, 2019 Wow mate, that's harsh. couldn't believe the interest to be honest but it is in a nice area with catchments for schools etc If you were in the UK 3 bedroom semi etc. lol
BIG__DOG Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Wait til you have to produce the FENSA certificates if the house has double glazing, certs for gas safety inspections, wall cavity insulation certs, damp course certs. It's a nightmare.
bagsta69 Posted October 4, 2019 Author Posted October 4, 2019 Mom was 80 so all insulation and cavity wall stuff etc done.
bagsta69 Posted October 4, 2019 Author Posted October 4, 2019 They do know how to charge for conveyancing fees etc though
BIG__DOG Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Oh I know mate,I hear they scrapped the Homebuyers/sellers pack which a seller had to complete, that was a headache when we were selling and buying a house 10 years ago.
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted October 4, 2019 Administrators Posted October 4, 2019 Most important question I would ask is "how's the broadband"
N3CR0 Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Do they want a discount if you take the light switches and electrical sockets? 😆
Bentham2 Posted October 18, 2019 Posted October 18, 2019 Is it really you are going to sell your house? I hope a real estate forum would be a nice choice for you. LOL!
