raf1212 Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 hello today I think I had dos attack or is it serious, if I can ignore: ps4
BIG__DOG Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 that is fine, no need to worry. I cannot remember exactly why but Netduma did comment on this in another thread some while ago. All I know is it nothing for you to worry about.
raf1212 Posted July 22, 2019 Author Posted July 22, 2019 one more question I have more and more dos attack, it's probably not normal
Featured Comment Guest Killhippie Posted July 22, 2019 Featured Comment Posted July 22, 2019 Netgear routers label port scans and almost all traffic as DoS attacks it seems, they are very paranoid as far as logs, and its totally normal. This is the noise of the internet, as I said none are Dos Attacks, and the fact the firewall dropped the packets is good anyway. Port scans are done all the time and most of this is probably normal traffic the router does not like. Don't worry about it, its normal. If it was a Dos attack you would not be posting. My logs look the same, in fact every Netgear router I have ever had has logs like this.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 28, 2019 Administrators Posted July 28, 2019 It's background QoS actions that are happening regarding spiked connections, looks like its blocking those spiked connections
raf1212 Posted August 2, 2019 Author Posted August 2, 2019 help why does not show the log, just such a message ,3days show
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 6, 2019 Administrators Posted August 6, 2019 It might be to do with the interface being in a different language, if you change it to English does the full log appear? If so change back to your language is the log there?
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted August 7, 2019 Administrators Posted August 7, 2019 Okay i've sent it, check your forum PMs.
