Youtube Stutters with the R1 Router

Recommended Posts

Hello,

For some reason when I am using the Youtube app on my PS4 the Netduma R1 router always causes the video to stutter and buffer (on a wired connection). As soon as I switch the PS4 to my Asus router, the stuttering stops.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks

If you have your download speed capped it could do that.  Try moving the bar back to 100% while you're watching videos and see if that helps.

Also good to chec if your connection is over 50 mb are you using reactive algorithm? And to make sure that you have put the right number in to your bandwidth section?

Good suggestion here to try :) let us know how you get on.

I had the bandwidth set to 96% but I still had to put it back to 100% to avoid YouTube videos from stuttering. It seems a little odd that at 96% streaming video (while not gaming) has that affect on the videos. At least for now there is a solution to fix that.

Thanks to all that gave their suggestions!!!
