Was wondering if your new routers are going to have an RJ 11 port because i have fiber optic and its through RJ 11 not RJ45

are you sure there is no other way around that even with the exiating version of router? Like i run fiber but not dircetly to my hous ist a coper to house fiiber to cabinet. With that i set my isp as a mode mode unit and simply pass routing of a home network to R1. And also in a new firmware upgrade in near future. Maybe few weeks R1 wil suport up to 900 mb speed if that is what is holding you back. Form what i understand you have a fiber connection directly to you lr hosue so you can still use r1 some users here are runit connection like this its completly duable.

Welcome to the forums ud3d_carnage :)

An RJ11 is used for a telephone line. Most routers don't have one of these ports unless they have a built in ADSL modem. So do you mean having an ADSL modem built into the router? You can get around this problem just by plugging the Netduma into your current router - it will work exactly the same :)

Your rj11 with be going to a modem or modem/router or adsl router you then connect your existing device from those mentioned to the Netduma using an ethernet cable.
