Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 15, 2018 Administrators Share Posted October 15, 2018 This has already been fixed so will be in the next Netgear firmware. If you downgrade you do not get the error so if you need it then you can do so. If you're doing it for CoD then DumaOS Classified Games does that already. Also the rule you put in would not work as you should not change the source ports, leave them as default.
Uzumaki619
Found a way to fix this. First down grade to the preview firmware. Than set the traffic Prioritization. Once you done that than upgrade to the new firmware. Your traffic Prioritization will be there and save. Just dont delete it or else you wont be able to add it. Headlared
Hi, I’m having a very similar issue to this, but I haven’t touched the source ports, left them default. I run a plex server for family, I want the traffic prioritized so I’m trying to define forwarded port as high priority, screen shots below are settings and subsequent error. Any ideas? Headlared
Thanks for the quick response. Do you have any timelines on a fix at all? 1 month - 1 year etc? If I decide to revert to the previous version : What will I be missing out on? As I assume features were added with .32 How do I revert and maintain my setup? Administrators Netduma Admin Posted November 2, 2018 Administrators Share Posted November 2, 2018 Hi Head - if you downgrade back to the previous version, add the ports you want, and then upgrade back to .32, it should be ok. .22 (previous): http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/XR500/XR500-V2.3.2.22.zip?_ga=2.168178273.173844220.1541172402-514089749.1478380526&_gac=1.208284326.1540831130.EAIaIQobChMI2fja24qs3gIVj5R-Ch3U1wOeEAAYASABEgKhZ_D_BwE .32 (current): http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/XR500/XR500-V2.3.2.32.zip?_ga=2.168178273.173844220.1541172402-514089749.1478380526&_gac=1.208284326.1540831130.EAIaIQobChMI2fja24qs3gIVj5R-Ch3U1wOeEAAYASABEgKhZ_D_BwE Next firmware release should not be far away. I cannot give an exact ETA as it's in NETGEAR's hands.
