purpleandgold33
I'm having some minor issues with my geo with the server locations. First off whenever I try to ban a92d6e39ca483a3f it bans another server in my geo. Makes no sense. I literally cannot play on this shit server. Also, I am missing ATL server. Please advise, Thanks! RL317
Unfortunately temp banning a server doesn't guarantee avoiding one at that location because there are several servers per bank. If future firmware updates don't allow us to allow/deny server banks rather than just hosts (which is basically obsolete in any game after BO2 anyway), we should at least be able to temp ban an entire bank/any server within a tiny radius so it covers all of them. Temp banning only lasts 5 minutes so if you ban one, you couldn't possibly get them all before the first banned ones are allowed again.

When I ban it it doesn't actually temp ban the server it does it to a different one. Which might be the Atl server thats missing. I've moved my geo down to avoid illinios server cause I literally cannot play on the damn thing.
purpleandgold33
Btw duma team please add a feature that you can pretty much perm ban a server. I saw someone posted about this for the xr500. Thanks!
ColonicBoom
The problem with permanently banning dedis is that a lot of people would just ban every server that they get beaten on, whether there was genuinely an issue on that server or not. They would end up with problems finding games after a while and then they'll start saying "it takes ages to get games with Netduma" or "can't get any games with Netduma". You might not do this yourself but plenty of people would and it would quickly cause an admin problem here. Also, a server might suffer issues on one day that are resolved the next day. If you really want to avoid a bank of dedis you need to drop your geo with them out-of-range.
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted March 21, 2018 Netduma Staff Share Posted March 21, 2018 Btw duma team please add a feature that you can pretty much perm ban a server. I saw someone posted about this for the xr500. Thanks! As the others have said above, the only way currently to permanently block a dedicated server is to exclude it from your radius with Strict Mode on and Ping Assist at 0ms. Thanks for the feedback though, we're always taking notes of the features being suggested
