No BT sport on Net duma

Recommended Posts

It seems that BT Sport does not support many 3rd party routers, I really enjoyed using my Net Duma however when i do use it my BT Sport channels on my TV do not work.

This means my netduma does not get used as it takes me too long to continually switch and set-up my routers, wondering if anyone else has this issue and any one has any possible workarounds?

I have BT fibre optic connection and currently i have a modem which connects to a bt home hub router.

I have in my possession an ethernet switch, would it be possible to connect both routers to the modem through the switch and have just my bt tv devices connected to the home hub and everything else to my netduma?

Is the Netduma connected through the Home Hub? I have my Netduma connected to the Home Hub and everything works fine :)

I have placed the Netduma in the BT router DMZ and restarted both routers but in the Netduma settings no blue box showing that the netduma is connected through another router appears like in the wiki here: http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=bt_home_hub_5 .

I receive an error on my ps4 (NW-31205-1)

Ok. First of all can you make sure that the GeoFilter is disabled. Second of all can you go to 'device manager' and see if there is a number after 'WAN IP'.

No number

Ok. Have you definitely plugged into port one of the Netduma and have you plugged into one of the 4 LAN ports on the home hub? Make sure you haven't accidentally plugged into the home hub WAN port :)

Not sure why i was having issues but after messing i unplugged everything. plugged everything back in, named the device on homehub as netduma and again ensured it was DMZ.

Finally the blue box appeared and i can connect :)

Thankyou for your help!

Dragging an old thread but has anybody had any success getting BT sport working without using the Hub ideally i would like to use my current set up openreach modem connected to netduma only.

Not a biggie but just wondering.

Champions League tonight  :)

It still doesn't allow me to do this. When I make the Netduma the main router, the bt sport box connected to my TV says it has internet connection but it doesn't allow any shows to be watched for some reason.

You have to use the HH5 to view Bt youview but you can router just the box to the HH5 and everything else to the duma without impacting pings or jitter.

What I be right to assume the home hub has something for verification to allow BT sport?
