titofuenla
Hello team netduma. I have a big problem with the geo-filter, now my netduma is an authentic paperweight. I put a day: I usually play cod and cod ghost above all, why buy mainly netduma, was already of poor connections and bad pings arto. Until some time ago it was very happy (in spite of some bugs that has netduma) but fulfilled its function perfectly and my quality when playing no doubt had much improved. The problem is that for some time back now my geo-filter to left of works, I do not mean that it does not meet its function, that makes it well, I connected only to servers within my range of map, the problem specifically is that it saturates the router completely and also, no connection is that is must for which I have always and before settings worked me perfectly. I tell you how I do it: I have disabled the geo-filter when I'm not playing, when I turn on the ps3 and go to doc and load my active profile my geo-filter, entered search heading, and as I said the netduma complies with its only function connected people within my range of map giving me very good ping from 5 m to 30ms according to distance from host , but suddenly when I'm playing... boom! saturated, and happened to have a ping low to have ping of 900 and 1000ms, at that time the interface of the router also becomes very slow, making it almost impossible to use it, the only solution is to unplug the power so you restart and restart, but when I go back to enable geo-filter and browse game again the same total right now can not play using the geo-filter that is impossible for me and stops working netduma. (attached photo when you start the game and another during the game for that you see what is happening with ping) It is a shame that was very happy with netduma, for that as I have said specifically what bought me for the geo-filter and so far was luxury, but right now I can't use it and is as if I had a paperweight. A greeting and I hope you can give me a solution, I would be very grateful.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 25, 2017 Administrators Share Posted May 25, 2017 I believe that is a graphical bug. First make sure you're using Google Chrome and you have the default theme selected. Make sure there are no devices ticked in VPN settings also. titofuenla
It is not only graph that as I say my connection worse when this happens. I use chrome and the interface I have default, Vpn does not use and I have it turned off. Not is that may be the truth.
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted May 26, 2017 Netduma Staff Share Posted May 26, 2017 It is not only graph that as I say my connection worse when this happens. Whenever you do a reboot, make sure you do it from Settings -> Miscellaneous rather than "pulling out the power". Also, which firmware version are you on, and which game are you playing? Do you actually feel like you have a gigantic lag spike when this happens in the game, or is it not noticeable in the game but happens on the interface? Could you also run a Network Diagnostics test and let us know the results?
RL317
It's just a bug; it's randomly happened to me too. I clearly never had a full second of lag in those games. In fact CoD has a "max acceptable ping" of 800ms so you wouldn't even be able to play on 1000ms.
ColonicBoom
It's just a bug in the graph, I've seen it a couple of times before. A 900ms game would be unplayable. I think the server kicks people out if their connection to the server is that bad as it assumes they're lag-switching.

In the game feels somewhat late, not 1000ms as mark that as they say colonicboom would be impossible play and even safe not be connect or to the server, but rather from delay if it shows and the interface becomes very slow. When I do a test of diagnostics in netduma put me all exceptional. Curiously fraser said some of the Vpn and I began to investigate and to tinker a bit to see if he asked something. As I said do not use Vpn or never the e activated but as a result of what fraser probe said a couple of things and since then not me once again to pass judgment. What and echo is to go to Vpn and even though I have it off and added an exception to my ps3 as machine game, also I do is delete all the square configuration and with the box unchecked enable I give apply and puts me off that if whenever I turn on the play to play I have to repeat the steps to delete the config box and hit apply, the add the exception does not lack that that stays well kept. Thank you all for responding and I hope that we give with the key so that you do not run.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 29, 2017 Administrators Share Posted May 29, 2017 When you're not having the 1000ms bug it looks like you have a 35ms ping which is very good! So I would make sure you have congestion control setup correctly - 70/70 anti-flood & console in hyper traffic. You don't need to worry about the VPN at all, if you're not using it then that is fine.
