Netduma not allowing the internet trhough!

Recommended Posts

I have had to take the Netduma R1 out of my set up to use my internet,, as it would load up some pages then disconnect within like 1 min, I use a BT smart hub and have done for about 5 months now and had no issues untill now

I havent changed the settings at all or even messed with it since it was set up on here by staff.

Maybe I have done something but not knwon it, or I need so help to see what thee issue is.

Also loading up the netduma interface has been taking alot longer to load than normal

if you play games using port forwarding and leave geo filter enabled then it can cause you netduma gui to slow down dramatically over a period of time (it is a bug that netduma are aware of and will be fixed in dumaOS). connect the netduma back up and disable geo filter, turn on ps4/xbox and when on the main screen restart geo filter and launch game. When finished gaming disable geo filter until next gaming session. Keep doing this and you should be fine.......If you are not using port forwarding then ignore my post ;)

1 more thing........make sure the wifi is disabled on the smart hub and everyone is using the duma and also do a wifi channel scan to make sure no other wifi in your vacinity is using the same wifi channel!

Big Dogs advice above is great; please try everything that he suggested. Should you still get the disconnects, try some of the steps on this page: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022405-why-does-the-netduma-wifi-keep-dropping-out-

Let us know how it goes :)
