BIG__DOG Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 hi guys Well, for the past 2 or maybe 3 weeks my netduma has been underperforming in a huge way. Constantly having to disable geo filter in order to find a lobby, adjusting the sliders in order to get a good bufferbloat reading does naff all, shoot first and die first (even with a shotgun). I have tried a factory reset loads of times and have finally given up. My network diagnostics show exceptional across the board but something is really fudged up! I had to go out and buy a new router (Llinksys WRT3200ACM-UK) as I have a draytek modem and my household would have had no internet.. I have to say my hit detection is on point again and my bufferbloat is A+. If the netduma team have a solution for me as my netduma is out of warrantee or 1 of the major members has an idea I would love to add it to my linksys or should I hold out til the firmware update to see if it fixes my problems as I refuse to use it as it is at the moment!!!

Hey Big Dog; reckon you could do a pingplotter test over a few hours and post the results here? What's your base ping and your ping in-game using the Duma? I'm certain we'll be able to resolve the issue - lag increasing over time / weird ping readings don't tend to be anything to do with a faulty Netduma, it's more likely to be the actual game servers changing and requiring different settings.
BIG__DOG Posted March 19, 2017 Author Posted March 19, 2017 Hi. I will run a pingplotter test overnight and post results tomorrow. I have tried it over a 30 min period and all looked good. My base ping is 10 - 12 and game ping is about 12 - 14. I have no jitter either.......will post a screenshot tomorrow
BIG__DOG Posted March 20, 2017 Author Posted March 20, 2017 ok, I think my problem is solved. Bought a new cat6 cable and a new dsl cable. Disabled everything on my net work and just had an awesome game. i will add one device at a time as I play just incase it is a device on my network.
Zennon Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Did you test before fitting the new cables as the duma being off for a good while had dissipated the electricity in the RAM? So without testing first you have not diagnosed
BIG__DOG Posted March 21, 2017 Author Posted March 21, 2017 yeah, i ran tests on ping plotter and everything looked fine, i think it is a device on my network. I have 3 more devices to add which could be the issue as so far it is still performing well.
