Google DNS Servers

So I turned on my Xbox One and it couldn't sign in to Xbox Live. Unplugged everything and waited 5 minutes and plugged everything in. Still the same. Ran the Xbox Network Connection Test and it says it couldn't connect to the DNS server's. I had manually entered the Google DNS Servers there 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Never has been an issue with these entries there in the Xbox.

I switched it to Automatic and it connects with no problems. I wanted to test it again and manually enter the Google Servers again. It disconnects so I switched it back to Automatic to reconnect.

Xbox Support says it is a Network problem and I should speak to my ISP Cox. Any thoughts about this problem? I have never had problems with it before.

Thanks gents!

Google have servers around the world that all point to the same 8.8.8.8 and it picks one close to your proximity , it might just be that server is playing up tonight.

You could try pinging 8.8.8.8 from your computer to see if you can.

It could be Xbox assigning it. They happened to me before so it is nothing to worry about.

Do the numbers begin like 2001, 2601. Something such as that?

"The numbers Mason....what do they mean"? (Blops 2 humor)

"You killed him, Mason. You did, no one else, just you."
