RADDY1993
Was wondering as the community and forum grows will there be places for some moderators, may be a specific section or as such. This could help take the load off the developers and help keep the forum in order and clear of outdated posts and things.
Alex49H
Use so that way the Devs can focus on continued development of the R1.

Buds
The way I view moderators, is they should be asked rather than seek appointment. Not saying you are asking to be one Raddy but I'd trust the team to know when they need to bring someone on (a la Crossy).

Akic
Everyone helps everyone here it's just that kind of place, mods are more about keeping law and order which we don't really need IMO. Friendliest forum I've ever seen, not a flame war in sight
Zennon
Teamwork is better than ranks for sure
Dillinger
I agree that mods are valuable, but you need the right kind of Mod, to make any forum run effectively. A Mod that has to be right, all the time, even if they are online 23 hours a day is a detriment. A mod that has the best knowledge in the world, and doesn't post but two or three times a month isn't much better. Spam, Spam accounts, Trolling Threads for the sake of Trolling, Spelling errors in titles, Threads in the wrong section, & little house cleaning all need to be looked after by someone. Stuff like that is all valuable to a growing forum. This being a specialized forum, at the moment, it's a lot easier as most of us have a lot of the same opinions on gaming (Lag=Bad, FPS=FUN, but only when lag is not an issue, big gun streaks are amazing fun, etc). Throw in one thread about politics or religion or guns or legalizing drugs and watch what happens. I've set up two forums now, and brokered them both off, so I have seen both the benefits and the detriments of the well meaning who rose a little too close to the sun. This by way of saying, when the time comes, the forum owners will know and they will have an idea of whom they think will be good and viable candidates. I agree with a couple of the names mentioned in this thread. abc123 helped me a bunch, without being a know-it-all, when I first joined. That was one knowledgeable dude! Having read some of Zennon's stuff, I would concur he is both helpful and knowledgeable, with the added caveat that he is here a lot.
cranium2001
I wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a problem (which I don't see being that way for a long time). If it does happen every comment above is right. I don't see how you can go wrong with any of the names recommended.
Buds
This thread typifies why I'm still posting here. I've been members of forums from their start up before. But generally once they grow they can quickly turn to shit. Once that happens I turn to a lurker and stop posting. I genuinely wouldn't have an issue with anyone in this thread being a mod (other than me - I'd lose it on an 'I want a refund' thread lol)
RADDY1993
Yes the only reason i mentioned it was in thinking it could help keep the forum clean and tidy not for exerting power like on some forums. I know it takes time to go through the sections and sort them out, that being this forum is one of the tidiest and well kept forums ive seen. Also the staff are just like us and dont act like dicks as on some gaming forums i frequent.
Zennon
This is the only forum i post on, because of the devs being so down to earth and the members being so nice, i hope it stays that way or ill be off like Buds lol

Zennon
I think the duma crowed seems to be long serving gamers that are good at what they play and want the best set up they can to play fair and lag free
