Okay so you don't need to worry then, you'll have an Open NAT, the Geo-Filter is just blocking the server its using to test your NAT, it's not actually causing a strict NAT. There is likely a blocked icon on the map when you do the test that you can allow if you'd like but it's not necessary.

alex.devine got a reaction from Netduma Fraser in Battlefield 6
It has improved by 100% on Netduma's side, and I'm finding games in London and Germany. (UK-based).
But there are so many issues with BF6 right now with hitreg and servers.

Further improving the Oklahoma issue/incorrect servers

It seems to be working for me, all my games have been in London and not placed over the water in the USA
Very smooth games apart from when the EA servers have a wobble!

alex.devine reacted to TODDzillaInLA in Rarest Camo in BO7 🔥💎
Just wrapped the Astra Malorum event in Black Ops 7 and secured the Shower Camo "The rarest camo in the entire game". 💎🔥
Top 5 or you missed out… and trust me, the leaderboards were sweaty.
Meanwhile, half the timeline is still arguing about “lag comp,” “hit-reg issues,” and “my bullets don’t count.”
My bullets counted just fine. Because my connection with the r3.
Check out the video: 👉 https://youtube.com/shorts/8wFD0gsHITE?si=tRX7kc0rrWM28uyc
From start to finish, the NetDuma R3 kept BO7 zombies feeling smooth — 2ms ping, no jitter, no rubberbanding, no ghost bullets. Just pure, consistent gameplay that let me focus on placing top 5 instead of fighting my connection.
Why this run felt clean:
⚡ Zero packet loss when holding long streaks
🔥 Hit-reg stayed instant even during peak chaos
🛡️ No desync when rotating, swapping, or inspecting
🎯 Ping locked in no random spikes
🚀 Stable packet pacing = stable confidence
If your connection is fighting you, you’re not competing you’re surviving.
The R3 keeps BO7 in that perfect “instant-feedback” zone so every gunfight feels fair and every bullet lands exactly when it should.
NetDuma R3 Setup (Astra Event):
🔧 Latest firmware installed
🎯 BO7 geo-filter tight and dialed
⚡ Bufferbloat crushed with Bandwidth Control
🧩 2 Gbps fiber optimized for stability over fake speed
🎮 Packet pacing smoothed for consistent hit-reg
This Shower Camo wasn’t “luck.”
It was a clean line + clean gunfights = clean placement. 😈🔥

Excellent! Nothing specific to use them both, as with the XR just set the R3 in the DMZ on the EE router

alex.devine reacted to Redflame in Battlefield 6 Beta Game mode (boost, QOS) not working
No worries, just wanted to update you an EE update had come but issues still linger, but glad you and your team are on the case.
Fraser, if you don’t mind indulging me. Please say if you want me to move this another discussion, I’ll it edit out and start a new general discussion.
But I’ve had a few issues with WiFi enhancer with EE. It’s not the router or your feature set, as geo work but game mode just gives up working. This isn’t the only issue, it’s mainly down to their buggy customer app. The feature set is limited, you can only toggle boost on or off, and you can’t set congestion control limits, just run ping optimiser and hope the values are good, although you can’t see what values it sets. There’s no router admin settings, you got to access DUMA os via going deep into ee WiFi controls things.
My warzone squad mate, told me to just get an R3 because you can be more in control plus you know what settings are set, etc.
I got an R3 before, we did talk about it back then. My BT hub didn’t allow or have a bridge mode, and messing with DMZ wasn’t something I was qualified on. So I was using R3 directly into Bt Ont but couldn’t get it connected, you did offer to help but as I was going away, and my streaming made family don’t go to bed until 12:30 -1am troubleshooting was challenging coz of this. I sent it back because I was weary what if it didn’t work and migrated from BT to EE for simplicity.
Im leaving EE as my issues with the service, some of advisors were rude and blame the issues on my set up lol. Sadly they don’t have your kind, pleasant mannered willingness to help.
Ive just order an R3
So the two isp I’m eyeing up is sky or talk talk, they use DHCP/IPOE. I heard sky uses something 61 or 62 which R3 may struggle with. I heard there shouldn’t be an issue with talktalk. So could you confirm if the R3 as a pure router would work with these? And am I right to assume that I can plug it into my ee Ont (modem) and it’ll able to work, but just at reduced speeds?

They're testing an update currently so assuming that goes well they'll push it out incrementally

alex.devine reacted to Netduma Fraser in NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535
您能澄清一下游戏加速应用程序的含义吗?
该版本已经进行了一段时间的 beta 测试,所以现在我们将其发布给公众进行测试。 我已经为您提供了测试版部分的访问权限,我们将来可能会在其中发布更多固件。
This one has an additional security update, other than that it is the same as the closed beta.

At one point I was like yourself... I will find a solution!
I NEVER DID, I now just use the XR500 as intended with Geo and QOS, my house runs 35+ devices and I need the QOS to stop the lag.
So I treated myself to the new LG C2 42" < Amazing TV and the Steelseries Nova Pro Wirelesses HAHA.
I am looking forward to MW2 and I hope they make a couple of changes.
Give up and enjoy the gaming or it will consume you

alex.devine reacted to ByMgRs in Netduma R1 Configuration Chrome Extension
Hey all!
I have been very busy this evening writing a Chrome extension. Now it is relatively simple, so what it allows you to do is click an R1 logo (in the extensions zone) to launch a new tab showing the Netduma config page. So now your interested how do you install it? Rather than babble on I am going to leave the steps below and then some quick notes about future plans.
Steps:
1) Please read the bottom of the article now! I have made some updates. You can now download an official version form here:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/r1/joildkkbnlacbbccbiacomeholembojm
For custom installs:
1) Download the .crx file, this is the actual extension file. I had never heard of .crx before doing this
project but I can promise you it is not malicious.
Link: https://www.mediafire.com/?srxmzm87xd0dn86
2) Move the .crx file to your desktop. This isn't required but will make the next steps a bit easier.
3) Open a new chrome tab and enter: chrome://extensions/
This will open the Extensions management page.
4) Now move the Chrome window to a position where you can see it and the .crx file on your desktop. Now all you need to do is drag the .crx file onto the Chrome page.
5) Release your cursor and a confirmation box will pop up asking if you want to add it. Click add and that is it!
6) You will now see a Netduma logo in the top right of your Chrome page with your other extensions. If you click it a
new tab will be launched opening the Netduma configuration page.
Plans:
So eventually I would like to publish this to the Chrome store for more easy use. Can either Iain, Fraser or anyone from the Netduma team message me regarding permission to do this, alternatively I am happy for you to publish it as long as I am given some form of recognition Done it!
If you have any questions please leave them below! Hope this helps!
Update:
So... I sorta jumped the gun a bit and published it! It's available here for download through the Chrome store:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/r1/joildkkbnlacbbccbiacomeholembojm
