Ha ha, I've been doing exactly the same thing, my geo filter allows Spain, Saudi and the east coast of America (I'm in the UK) and the experience is mostly more "relaxed" than using local servers. I don't know why the Spanish server seems to work for me ,it's the exception but yes 100 ms ping works for me 👍

We did have that with previous versions of DumaOS so presumably it would be simple enough to add it back in. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll pass it along to the team!
