  1. @Reykc9510Well if it stable then you should be all good you could probably do a bit better as your original showed 15ms max instead of 41ms max
  2. @Reykc9510Are you saturating the connection by doing a speed test while running the command prompt?
  3. @Reykc9510That your router it typically going to show 1ms regardless....what you need to ping is a server like google.com so -t google.com
  4. @Reykc9510Check this Link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxaU5cFZmXw
  5. @Reykc9510If I recollect correctly to keep pinging you type -t at the end so you can accurately see the data live
  6. @Reykc9510Doesn't generally matter the point is to stabilize your connection from saturation once's that done then you can close it or stop it by using press Control + C
  7. @Reykc9510That not what I mean't so since your on windows go to your command prompt and ping google.com then while doing a speed test to saturate the connection look at the ping and if spikes abnormally like 100ms or so then you need to keep adjusting your cc settings till it doesn't happen any longer.
  8. @Reykc9510Yeah that just the quickest method
  9. @Reykc9510If you have fiber in certain cases it just a dhcp one so there nothing you would have to do and no way for you access it as it owned by the ISP though they dont restrict you from doing anything by the modem configs typically that is.... The key to distinguishing between PPPoE and DHCP is how to assign IP addresses. In PPPoE, you need to log in with the correct account and password first, while DHCP just needs to wait to be assigned an IP address automatically
  10. @Reykc9510There an example you can do this as well by just pinging google.com on your devices terminal decrease your cc till you see it no longer spike you can also check your game console for packet loss simultaneously. I would run a game like fortnite as it easier to see the graph with net bug stats to check for packet loss or ping spikes when doing the saturation test... 0121.mov
  11. @Reykc9510Give me about 5-10 minutes or so I'll show you a demonstration using ping plotter you can also do this without it it just easier to understand
  12. @Reykc9510So under Traffic prioritization set it to games console
  13. @Reykc9510 Use this software https://www.pingplotter.com/ and try and saturate your connection by doing speed test and if it spikes you have to keep decreasing your cc settings till it doesn't spike any longer. What platform are you using to play?
  14. @FairypusherMan's a drama queen let him cook ๐Ÿ˜‚
  15. @Fuzy@Reykc9510It won't matter QOS for cloud flare is not available on the XR1000 so it not going to prioritize it I have requested for the DPI to be updated 3-6 months ago and still nowhere be found since it hasn't been updated the only alternative is forcing prioritization to the device your using and to find the optimal QOS is to use ping plotter and look for when it gets saturated. In addition yes in most cases you won't saturate your connection with those speeds but some households do so if you dont have a proper QOS well your going to enjoy some packet loss from time to time when it get saturated out of the nowhere thinking it your ISP.
  16. @MegatfDon't worry man you can use it to cook yourself a meal ๐Ÿ˜‚
  17. @Comp0zaIf I were you I wouldn't do so as your location is still going to be exposed by the server regardless of course that varies by game and the downside is that it slows your connection to the server since it has to go through a wall etc.
  18. @SpazzJust checking did you ever check if the packet loss was coming from the line? I would if you didn't at the time since sometimes it can be your ISP I recommend the following tool to diagnose network if it occurs again https://www.pingplotter.com/.
  19. @GlazekoXR500 is still good your not missing a whole world by any means what you do need is the DPI to be updated to the latest version which I have requested for the XR1000 about 6 months ago and still pending....that why when you do a buffer bloat test it not optimized correctly because your missing the DPI catalog which affects what games/applications are detected.
  20. @Proud R3 OwnerI am pretty sure system already does that automatically without affecting the network if not users would've been affected ages ago in the R2 ๐Ÿ˜‚
  21. @SpazzTry setting a dynamic IP instead of a fixed IP and see if that resolves your issue on the XR450 in settings....
  22. @Psyco-MengoThe update was delayed do to some ad-blocker bug that was found and I guess it impacts the performance though hopefully the update should come early next week were all waiting as well buddy yo ain't the only one that's experiencing issues.
  23. @titofuenlaI donโ€™t necessarily worry about it my IP changes automatically after reboot so if I get ddos it doesnโ€™t affect me.
  24. @Netduma FraserHere a clip I also did a reboot and same result only fix is hard resetting to conclude this only occurs once you revert to default settings. 0118.mov
