  1. Just lettiing users know that i updated my firware to the latest firware again but experience has changed My hit detection before on the older firmware was brilliant When i did traffic proratization Now since last night when i upgraded firmware my hit detection is crap i am doing the exact same traffic proratization methods so far I do think its down to one thing thats diffrent The older firmware used an algorithm called reactive aka fq codel But in the new firmware they do not use this algorithm as i was told this when the firmware was released ages ago i asked will the new firmware use reactiv algorithme the admins said no it wont
  2. Ive been reading for dumar1 users that its best to keep ABB se to always not never when you turn off ABB its meant to disable traffic proratization I am also a dumar1 user as well But i have only updated to the new firware last night So atm im experimenting with settings All i can say is atm i prefer my older firware My hit detection so far is crap compared to my brilliant hit detection on my older firware and it could be down to one reason i think The reactive algorithm aka fq codel This algorithm was on the older firware but not on the new dumar1 firware It now uses some kind of premptive algorithm
  3. Btw for any one intrested on ps4 to get he red light on you only need to use 1 rule Thats for me when i tried yesterday rule1 start 3074 3074 end 30000 45000 udp
  4. Also i seen a few otheres here say to reboot your router and ps4 Then see if it works
  5. The three ports change every game so i have the ability to see what the ports are Ths list shows the ports i foud so far in the past week or two but the game only uses 3 porrts at a time from the list i posted the list was the ports i found and the list isnt finished
  6. Thoughy my other outer it has open wrt firmware installed on it
  7. Its still the same ports i listed But you just use the first two insted of four of them
  8. Sable i am from uk as well i have played on the italy dedi as well And i prefered that to as well i think i was getting 30 ms ping to it around There a dedi just west of it to as wel that plays good as well i think its spain but im no good at geography when you say you get 40 ms ping is that on the router you get 40ms ping or ingame ping out of curiosity
  9. For me as well i only ever seen the ports 3074 3075 destination 3100 3500 on my upnp page on router Thats why i prioatize them but i think there not needed Any they never appear on my network monitor or my new openwrt router either neither have i seen any members who use wireshark say that these ports are being used And ghost has never seen them appear in his research i think So i got a feeling these are wrong as well
  10. The way ive been telling people to prioratize is the same way as your saying i think Apart from i tell them to make four rules Heres how ive been telling people to prioratize Rule 1 Source 3074 -3076 destination 30000 -45000 udp Rule 2 source 30000 -45000 destination 3074 -3076 udp rule 3 source 3074 -3076 destination 3100 -3500 udp this rule might not be needed Rule 4 source 3100 -3500 destination 3074 -3076 udp this rule might not be needed Also if you only make 1 rule you only prioatize upload traffic if you make two rules you prioatize download traffic aswell This is what i was told Like i say im no expert here im only going off what i read in these forums
  11. here was my readings from playing 1 match sorry i took me so long i was buisy typing in the threads IPV4 UDP 192.168.1.115:3074 95.141.40.225:33790 11.73 MB (77574 Pkts.) IPV4 UDP 192.168.1.115:3074 95-179-204-207.choopa.net:42440 22.12 KB (372 Pkts.) btw this was a free for all match as i hate al other game modes
  12. For myself i port them indavidually because im on the older firware Everything blackfirehawk says i agree with I kind of say the same thing in the start of thread But you explain it way better than me
  13. Yeh i am sure your correct because if you read my first post here i do state that i think theres a main port This is what ive been thinking myself as well As i have stated this in my first post i say the game uses three ports at one time
  14. You have the ability to see your port numbers so so you dont need to put them in ranges You can put them in one at a time like i do and ghots does but its a lot more time consuming as like you said the port changes every new game but eventually you will get every port For you you would writr them like this rule 1 source 3075 3075 destination 41410 udp rule 2 source 41410 41410 destination 3075 3075 Rule 3 source 40250 40250 destination 3075 3075 udp Rule 4 source 3075 3075 destination 40250 40250 udp Etc etc But if you get overlaping rules you could fo them like this Rule 1 source 40410 40410 destination 40410 40410 udp Rule 2 source 40250 40250 destination 40250 40250 udp Im not 100 % sure if im correct as i cant try this myself as i am using the older firmware And this is from my memory I just noticed somthing on the wireshark capture the length of the packets are diffrent your sending 71 packets the eedi is ony sending back 29 I think thats what the length means I rember RL327 mentions it in my thread before Its either packets queing lenth or packet size Somthing simmillar
  15. You are correct the first part 192.168.1.115 is my routers ip adress the part im trying to show you is the port number part What im trying to show everyone is its showing the port for the specific dedicated server
  16. Yes we all have that part of the info but yours dosent show the ports its using my post shows the ports for the exact server
  17. Sure i check next game
  18. if you notice on the list i just posted their are two diffrent kinds of adresses on the list IPV4 UDP 192.168.1.115:3074 95-179-204-207.choopa.net:42440 2.44 KB (36 Pkts.) IPV4 UDP 192.168.1.115:3074 95.141.40.237:32990 1.32 KB (26 Pkts.) s an example the first shows the host name ie choop.net the second dosent have a host name this one in my example IPV4 UDP 192.168.1.115:3074 95.141.40.237:32990 this is the main port But this port chages every new game
  19. Ghost the packet count i dont think will be correct as i wasnt connected to these servers when you first start the game it justshows you the servers so you connect just for a second
  20. look at this guys this is me just in the game not even playing it shows every dedi avaible at that time all around the world and the info ports it uses if i restart the game it wil show another loa again as it refreshes erveey timeyou restart the game Protocol source destination packets IPV4 TCP 192.168.1.115:56043 185.34.106.33:3074 442.35 KB (1326 Pk TCP 192.168.1.115:55194 185.34.106.33:3074 223.50 KB (364 Pkts.) 21. if you read above at start of topic it explains it all for you in my opinion
  22. Btw way guys thers another way thats even better than wireshark and network monitor to see what ports the game is using Its from using open wrt on a router I just found out about it yesterday its brilliant It shows you The ip adress of the dedi the host of the dedi the port the dedi is using how many packets the dedi is using It looks absalutlely brilliant Also im pretty sure when you first boot up the game it shows every dedi and there port for a few minutes and who the dedis hosted by Atm im trying to work out how to copy the info down Thanks to User here called progprogprog for telling me about it yesterday Btw it is also showing that we do use tcp 3074 with another tcp port thats when your in the menus screen it was showing whilst i was playing a game But i only checked at the start of the game when timer ticks down i will post an example here in a while of the stats its showing When im using my pc hers an example of IPV4 UDP Source 192.168.1.115:3074 destination 95-179-204-207.choopa.net:42440 7.36 KB (120 Pkts.) Admins i think you should should bring in somthing like this to the dumar os its even getter than the olld network monitor And it shows you every thing you need to know also if people postd a list of these ports and dedis adresses You could just look at the list to see your dedi you play on and use the port from the info It means you you could you wouldnt have to make port ranges With port ranges you prioratize a lot of ports at once but this way you only have a few open at a time A user just uses the port for there dedi this is how ghost is doing it at the moment I hope i made sence This part is to the admins only Would me making a list of all the dedis and their ip adresses and names with the ports they use help you with the cloud update
  23. Sorry i missed yoyr comment i would prioritize that port as well as the others i posted
  24. I was monitoring the connectiln whilst i wasnt in a game i was just in the menus screen But it does seem as if the game is usin tcp 3074 as well Well somthing on my network is defently using tcp source 56043 destination 3074 tcp Im new to open wrt so im still trying to figure it out
  25. Its just showing the same ports i listed but a lot moe information I can see the dedi server adrees who host the dedi and the oirt it uses In my post listed above i think RL327 mentioned tcp ports might be used as well he mentions a7legit thought this was the case im thinking the same thing of what im seeing so far
