GRAFTI READ HERE I am on ps4 I sounds to me that you have either done two things wrong Make sure you set ping assist to 0 Make sure strict mode is enabeld in geo filter settings If you do these two things it should fix it If you set ping assist to 20 ms i t will find you games up to 20ms making your geo filter not work if you set your location far away So it has to be set to 0 if your trying to find games away from your real location

Far as i know the port 80 is to d0 with web pages that with 443 as well 1935 has to do with ps4 As i have seen that many times when you read about portforw'arding psn

Ile explain why you make two rules this is what i was told on my other thread by RL327 As they told me how to set it up i could be totally wrong The reason you make two rules is Rule1 Source 3074 3075 destination 30000 45000 udp this cover your upload to the servers Rule2 Source 30000 45000 destination 3074 3075 udp this cover your download from the servers He thinks RL327 this is the most important rule rule2 as it covers what you see in game if its not prioratise correctly you will be a second behind Far as i know 3074 is for ps4 pc 3075 is for xbox 3076 has been used before but cant remerber for what console

Grafti we have ABB set to always try that also if you can try and get your buffer bloat to an A Or if you have a pc run pingplotter and try get you line as stable as possible this might help

Well im saying this happend in the past so i cant take a picure of it When i was switching between firmawares a few days ago And i have seen it appear many times over years i had dumar1 Its always after i either factory reset my dumar or system upgrade or downgrade If it appears again i will try to screen shot it But it will be hard to do so because i hardly use my pc i only tend to use it when i copy n paste a link to the forum I mostly use my ps4 nowadays This what im using as i type this Also if i remember correctly it dosent show as an ip adress it shows as a mac adress

We cant say for certain but we dont think they are needed you couuld put in anothe rule that covers Source 3074 3075 destination 50000 60000 tcp if you wanted to see if it helps you but i dont think it will I do know that when your in a game it does use 3074 tcp as source with a 50000 or 60000 port as destination tcp But i havent added any tcp ports

Sharman85 it a bit confuding are you asking for us to write tye rule for those ports or you was sharing them for people wanting to write them indavidually

What is your ping ping to dedis on the dumar os because sables settings are they have a ping to the dedi they play on its 30ms to 32 ms When they play on the lower pings dedi its not good

Grafti be aware if you downgrade it dosent have the red ligght feature It will show you the ports you need But its a lot of time and effort to this On my list i ended up with other 100 ports and that was from a few days of doing it It could be a lot lot more ports When you say you had beeter game 'lay on 50 ms was that ingame or oing to dumar geo ping If 3074 3075 dont work try 3074 to 3076 i ve seen people in the padt use 3076 before

Grafti please try this Rule1 source 3074 3075 destination 30000 45000 udp rule 2 source 30000 45000 destination 3074 3075 This the way we rdcomend doing them Your rules are diffrent than ares it shows your only using 3074 not 3075 as well

That 40688 would be one of the three ports the game uses at a time 3074 or 7075 i s another the 3rd port only shows when your actually in a game That port you posted i should change a few times if you restart the game check for yourself

If you meant it shouldnt show me my other router on the geo filter Well it does now i cant remeber if it was on the older firware or the new firmware But it showed me my new tp link router with openwrt but this router dosent have dmz on it Because i was switcing between firmwares so i cant remember what firmare i seen iton the other day Also fraser my older tp link router it used to show it on it to Because in the past i factory reset my router at least 100 times And on a fresh install it would show it on geo filter nothing else was on it as it had just been wiped So i would allow it on the allow or deny list this was defently on the older firmware And it would show a ping of 1 ms to it

The reason i bough the huawei hg 612 is zennon recomeded it to me Becauase in englan the local fttc cabinet you can turns off interleaved if your modem has g imp So i gives us a fast path proflle its sothing along ghose line I never knew about this tell zennon told me about it Anyways thank you all for your help i have all the help i neede d so thank you all

Grafti i think i see you problem your on xbox1 so i think you should be using 3o75 instead of 3074

I tried many servers and settings so far but the best yet have been sable settings Have a look at them they are great in my opinion You need to find a server that gives 30 - 32 ms ping And use the ports we recomended Hopefully they might see my post and post there settings here

The first way i used was from netdumar1 older firmware it has a network monitor it shows you how to see what ports the game uses The second way i do is though my other tp link router it has openwrt firware on it This shows all the ports and the stats i posted above this is so easy to do A user here called progprogprog told me about it a few days ago its brilliant

I will edit my post to make it more under standable But you dont need to make another rule for playing custum games The fanges we postd already cover the ports already

Yeh its the same kind of info i had aswell I never knew he did 443 Thats ports for web pages He also did mtu to 1500 he said neverr select auto

well the 9000 or 10000 range ones i was using network monitor but it dosent show you if its source or destination so i couldnt tell this was from a few custum games i played today i mean private match against bots PV4 UDP 192.168.1.115: 3074 95-179-204-207choopa.net:42960 this was a dedi in england so it looks like the port ranges we posted will work for custom games btw my hit detection on the bots was excellent before these settngs even bots were difficult to kill lol

.. here is the port i found playing a custum game Protocol Source destination IPV4 UDP 192.168.1.115:3074 95-179-204-207.choopa.net: 42960 192.168 1 .115 is my router ip its the source its using 3074 95 179 204 207 choopa is the dedi you play on it uses port 42960 as destination I hope this would make it more understandable so it looks like the port range would work
