I just recently starting to try vpn on call of duty games So i wanted to find out as mutch as possible about it What i would like to find out and what lve learned so far All info welcome As theres not a lot info about it On my ps5 this was I was using hidemyass If i wanted the game to think that i was in thecity i vpn it would only work it imy ps5 recognied it Doing a ps5 speed test would let you know if it recognied it by showing in ps5 tese it logged into 'sn network If it fails to recognise it in ps5 buy s/ying failed to connect in speed test It wont show your location in game This was with geo filter turned off Another indicator is on youtube the ads are in the regions you chose It is possible to et an open nat in game on ps5 on vangaurd For me if the internal ip is 3074 and external ip adress is port 3074 then i get an open nat from my testing so farif the external ip adress had difrent ports than 3074 it was a moderate nat I think i now know how to make the game think im in a city and play games around that area With no geo turned on I had a few games where i had geo turned on to london it was set And the game thought i was in italy And my ingame ping increaded to anout 78 ms around But on the dumar it would show my ping was only 8ms so the geo ping wasnt showing the adddd delay Can sombody explain why this is Most times tried this method it wasnt findind the data centres so i couldnt connect or find games What i wanna beable to do is set my location to eg london always and play in london to but the game thinks im in austrilia eg Ive done this before but i dont know how i did it I had my geo set to london and i played in london but my vpn is set to austrlia eg so ingame it shows im in aus But ingame the ping was still normal around 18ms so there wasnt a delay at all I dont like this method so far from my testing The reason i wanna keep my geo se t local is when i play with friends and family i dont wanna make them experience lag from me forcing a further away location If i wanted to do this i could easily do this on my dumaros already and ii dont want to effect my freinds I seen sombody here say they use port 443tco source 1 to 65535 destination tcp why do they chose 443tcp my understanding 443 was for the use of http or https Could sombody post a list of the cod server locations or the psn ser locations I think this might be helpful when trying to find out where to set your vpn to match the servers As my vpn has loads of location i have no clue if it near a cod server or psn server Somthing else i noticed when i ran the speed test in ps5 it would show me the psn server in that location if the speed test recognised it then i would allow it I think this might be really important in trying yo get the ps5 to think im in that location and play somwhere else

I just wanted to find out about hma vpn Im a bout to but it later today I already own surfshark vpn Will hma work on your vpn settings page on jy xr500 I know i can gget surfshark wotking on dumar os but for me its to complicated Have to chane the config file every time i wann change a server location So i know hma and pure vpn are meant to work wiyh dumaros i think Please advise i dont wanna pay out for another vpn thats not needed I guess with hma i put my subscription details into dumar os settings scrre page then i chooose a server is this correct using hma

I bought the assus rt ax82u I made a big mistake i read i could see the stats and change snr with it boy was i wrong Lol i bought the wrong model i should have bought the asus dsl82u instead i found this out only when i rand asus Luckily i returned it so got a refund I just need to find another modem or router that can change snr on vdsl

The easyway i play us games is Set ping assist to 0 set your locatiln over the us server turn atuo ping off first Then you have to allow the us data centre servers when it appears click allow you have to do this procedure every time you restart the game or logout of game untill youve allowed every us data centre Also i only use the norma geo setting not teo fence so i se it over the us only thers no geo fence set anywhere else This is the method i use for cod it should be the same for wz Btw im from uk as well turn off fast search turn on strict mode Your freind has probally enabled the data centres already you just need to do the same When you set ping assist to 200 ms Ping assist we look for games for any ping in that region so it will try to find you games with the lowest ping ie games in europe So its not good for what your trying to do There is another way but its a lot more time consuming i think your freind might have done this If you set your ping assist to 80 this will get you your us Then you have to manualy block every other game servers apart from the us one Thisill take a while i mean a long long process I not tried it myself as its to time consuming you have to block every data centre in europe The first method is so simpe Btw the sata centres appear when you first launch the game

I just bought the steelseries artis nova pro ps5 edition It would be great if members hear could post these steelseries artis eq settings here for all call of duty games or warzone eq settings I would like to try as many diffremnt eq settings i know im using the steelseries artis nova and others here may have settings for the older versions but my guess / hope would be they still should work for the newer nova models i just read this after i bought them that the nova range dosent work with dolby like the artis pros did This has me worried a bit if its true Do artis pro users use dolby On my stros i used them for postional awareness

I just relised you would have to upgraded youur aoc27inch monitor as well it was only a 120hz monitor I rember cas i copied yoiu and i bought it last yea I actually gave that monitor away a few weeks ago too my niece

If anyone intrested in this info the new steelseries artis nova pro wired headset can use another headsphones I just bought them and i just pugged my akg702 into them Ive seen this question been asked on the web but nobody saif it was possible to do it I just plugged them straight into its dac ant it worked If they release sonar on ps5 this setup would destroy astros i think its custum eq is good now nut with the sonar new tech only on pc it sounds brilkiant you can beco,e / a sound engineer buy all the tweaks you can do I bought it as i heard on web steelseries are trying to get sonar on consoles to work

I was buying the router so i could see my stats i wanted to but somthing that i could see my stats and also change them too I have a 8 yd old router i could see my stats on i might plug it in again

N3cro i agree with you kind of Im talking about 8 to 9 yrs ago my experience was with fastpath being godly befor lag comp exsisted I did forget to metion that my ping onfaspath was 8ms onterleaved about 45 to 50 I had fastpath for mw3 bo2 and ever cod after that it was crap for them gamds and every cod since By the way from what ive been reading over the past week it seems Adsl and vdsl fast path are a bit diffrent Plus far as im aware you can only get fast path on your line if the cabinet supports g.inp and you have a compatable modem/ router as many users wont have this setup I rember reading thatadsl or vdsl fastpath one of these setups till used a bit of error correction on the line and the other one didnt For me playing cod nowadways i find highrer pings play beeter do to lag comp But i would love to be able to try and recreate my old fastpath adsl connection from years ago to see how it would play in the new cods im pretty sure i know the answer but i would love to tty When i was on faspath yrs ago i never dis this tech support did this i would just love to find out how to recreate it my self Far as im aware fastpath on adsl has interleaved set to 1 meaning it has a tiny bit of error correction on the line i think On vdsl it cant bet set to 1 far as i know think its either 0 =off low or high far as i know mine is set to 0 Also from what ive been reading Adsl fsastpath you can set your db from either 6db 9db 12db 12db On vdsl /fttc you can only use a 6db This is what i read so i may be totally wrong as i m no exper im just trying to 'earn it myself Also from my expeirences with fastpath adsl yrs ago there 4 diffrent 5 maybe profiles on faspath depending on the line I tried playing on 4 of them yrs ago Only playing on the 9db profile for me was godly i tried 3 otheres and they were crapi tried 12db crap 15db crap 6db crapi tried about a week on all the dirent profiles and i tried eatch profile a few time to try them out proper the 9db was godlike for me playing cod mw2 and bo1 Far as im aware vdsl has 1 6db

Im just trying to recreate a pastpath profile i used years ago for cod it was godmode yrs agochanging my db to 9db this was done from talktalk forum tech support Im just trying to research if it can be done Btw that modem do you know if it has the ability to use g.inp Redbull from what ive been reading from ladt night it seems fttc users in uk Can only be put on a 6db snr profile its not ajustable like on adsl I read this last night from kitz website i think it was called So that might be shy when you tried it revertedback

I just wanted to ask users here have any of you tried a fasthpath profile before in the past or are current usin it now Iused to have it enabled about 8 years ago from my isp talktalk at my older home When i had it enabled the cod mw2 and bo1 it was easy mode for me I only discover about fastpath profile when mw3 came out At the time i was on adsl2 connection Your isp could enable it if it was availible I think there were 4 profoles 15db no good for my line i tried it 12db i think this was my default setup no good 9 db god mode for cod mw2 and bo1 brilliant i never had anything close to this connection It made the game easymode for me 6db ho good for me Ile try to explain how the game felt For the first two years of mw2 i had a normal line no fastpath Every gun i would use i would have to put a full magazine into them to kill them So if there were two enemies i could kill one but never have any bullets left to kill the secong person and i would get killed But people who played against me or youtubers who i watched could kill an enemy with 3 to 5 bullets on average This was the same in cod bo1 Then when bo1 was about to end i found out about god mode / fastpath Holy shit batman this was a game changer As soln as it was enabled on my line i became great on both games mw2 and bo1 The only way to explain it was have you ever watched youtuber and said there game play is diffrent to mine I used to watch them throw random grenades in the air and they would get kills is one example Berore i enabled fastpath i would throw random frags or semtexs and out of 100 throws i may get 2 lucky kills somtimes ide throw the grenaded into a building with enemies but i wouldnt kill nobody But every greanade that landed anywher in my vasinity would kill me i hdidnt get it Then i enabled fastpath i would throw my random greanades and get a kill nearly 90 % of the time befor i t would be 2% ratio When i through a grenade i was almost certain to get a kill But the biggets change was my bullets before it would take a full clip and remember i was playing this mw2 for about 2 yrs so you get a feeling for guns and how they perform I would shoot an enemy and kill an enemy with 3 bullets so if there were two or three enemys i would easily kill all there and still have a few bullets and when sombody shot at me i had time to react to them and try to kill them when fastpath wasnt enabled i had no time to react i was always instant death These are the same symtoms im expierience in recent cod titles So would love to hear if anyone here has tryed faspath profile I think its called difren things for diffrent isp For talktalk it was called faspath i think it also called gaming profile Far as i aware it works by turning off interleaved on the line this is done by a chip in modem that has g.inp or has the ability to turn of g.inp somthing along those line im no expert just what i read somwhere Sorry i tried to explain how the game feels when playing but its hard to explain as it was many years ago plus unless you experienced it you might no get it But i do see very simalaritys to a lot of these youtubers experinces of playing the game it looks easy mode to me I experienced the same thing when i had fastpath on my internet I have started a another topic about fastpath profile Im trying to find out ways to eable it on fttc vdsl2 connection

@RedBull2k i thinj thode models you mentioned 1 of them didnt support g. Inp i read somwhere When you tweaked the snr margin was that easy to do in the routers gui or did you have to dio it from telnet i think its called I been reading about a billion modem 8800nl r2 model that might be gold I think its supports g .inp and works on adsl2 but i think its a router as well I read you can easily tweak the snr margin on it Any body ere se this model before i dont know if its an old model i just read about it

I agree there its defently able to do it by configs i know that i was saying scripts I never tried the configs myself they kinda looked crapi might have to try them out for my self I prefered to use crunos zen with rapid fire strafe fire scripts From what i read on cronus or xim forums anti recoil scripts mucks up the aim assist far as i read somwhere Ive never used anti recoil scripts so i couldnt tell if its right I bought the zen for my ps5 but it not work on ps5 so it sits in a corner crying I think i have to but bootloader to make it work same as my xim apex

Thanks mobellol how dis you know i was thinking of buying steelseeies Lol you must be physchi im thinking of buying the steel series artis pro or steelseries nova pro wired or wireless i prefer wirdd normally I more intrested in it for two reasons 1st is its 3d audio wanna see how good its imaging is 2nd is the custum eq Espically the new sonar programe that seems zmazing but its only for pc at moment i think i heard it might be relesed on ps5 as well The astro mixamp seems outdated to me as you can only eq 5 bars / frenquencies as steelseries you can tune 10 eq /frequencies at once Im not sure how gold though the tuning is on the steelseries gg app i think its called as you cant change there frenquencies like you can with astros But on the sonar app of steelseries you can change all frequency and other stuff this just sounds briiliant pitty it sonar is only pc atm I just really hope ps5 get to use sonar Sonar app on its own makes me wanna buy it

@zennon Years ago when mw3 was out i found out about fastpath profile for gamers On the original cod mw2 it made the game easy mode for when i discoverd about it I was with talktalk here in the uk This was availible on dsl connections All i did was sighn up to there forums and asked them to enable fastpath profile They put me on the 9db fastpath profile This for me was brilkiant On the forums you could ask them to change the dbs to either 12db 6db 9db or 15db if i remeber correctly For me 9db worked amazing for me ive never had a connetion even close to how good that was far as im aware this is done buy turing off interleved off I learnt this from zennon I then switched to fttc and wanted to get a fastpath profile enabled but i was told by talktalk forums it was on avaible by adsl connection i then asked on these forums about it Zennon the ledgend told me how to turn off interleaved this wa over 7 yrs ago at my olde propetry They told me certain modems huawei modems work better with certain local exchanfe cabinets down the road as far as i remember at the time there were 3 types of cabinets two of thdm worked great with huawei modems due to chips i think What it would do was turn off interleaved on the cabinet as the cabinet uses a programme to turn it off or on far as im aware This then decreased my ping from around 30ms to around 11ms i think Im just wandering if theres any modem/ router out there that can chane my dbs Lkke i used to with the forums tech support used to do it before yrs ago on adsl I did read yrs ago that there where routers that could do this but it yrs ago and i cant remeber how of where i read iti think it was to do with atunation strength i think My current modem is th hg 612 zennon recomended yrs ago I hope i made sence I just wandering if this can be done

Im pretty sure that some youtubers reverse boost is my guess and is using every advantage they can i see nothing wrong in this i have r tried to reverse boosting my self i still got my ass kicked I st wanted to say by no means was i trying to suggest mr brutal frosy reverse boosts iyt it came across that way i apolagise to you But my reason for this thread was to try to find out mrbrutalfrosty setup Many members here including me find better games disabling qos same here this is on th xr500 MrBrutalFrosty far as im aware has qos enabled but i actually think they have qos disabled but im guessing If they done a settings video they would hopefully show us Cas my hit detection is nothing like theres using simmilar setup as them I also think they are usin another modem / router infront of the router but im guessing again Off topic but when i tried to reverse boost i get smashed to pieces it dosent work for me but thats becase im always a sec behind if i was i destroy all lol

Bert far as im aware the xim cant use scripts from what i read I also own xim apex too i bought it to copy there setup i also bought his exact monitor as him last year Then i bought crunus zen as well I know the crunos zen uses scripts as i have used them i think there brilliant idea But far as i know apex cant run scripts far as im aware or i would be using them myself I know i gone off topic again For myself none of these gagets helped me at all In my opinion apart from the dumar os geo filter and traffic priotization have helped me I still always feel a split second behind an enemy The only time i feel on a level playing field was when i increased my ping ans going into higher ping lobbys but that was about a year ago i havent tried it on mw2 yet

He used to always play on console i think he switched to pc recently i aint sure i hadnt watched a video of his for a few moths But i do know his internet was terrible His old internet ping was around 79 ms as he showed in a older video Also on dumar forums he had big problems with his old slow internet i read his older post on forum hes been getting consistant nukes on console for years on crap internet he posts nukes daily I like to read older post from users years ago so it saves me asking questions somtimes The point of this thread was to try and get all users to go to his comment section and ask him to do a dumar settings video edited he done a video thanks As a few member here think like me as well turning off qos fee'ls better This guy uses the xr5oo and far as i know he has qos enabled his setup is brilliant so ide like to get my setup simmalar as possible

I wanted to ask users here for help with somthing we all might get a benefit out of espicaily xr500 users here Thers a youtuber called MrBrutalFrosty who is a member here i dont think hes still active but i aint sure I do not know this person at all i have no connection to them apart from i subscribe to there channeland they have always been veryhelpful Heres the point Theyhave briiling hit dectection briliant gameplay and they drop a nuke avery day it seems I know they used to play on ps5 but now on pc i think They use a xim i have a xim im useless with it i love my xim im just crap with it MrBrutalFrosty told me in the past they use a xr500 router this was chattihg in comment section I think he uses congetion control on enabled far as i remember I have just asked him this question on his latest qudstion I think it might be good if us users could ask him to do a new video off his dumar router settings i think he did one in the past if my memory is correct I will be asking them as well btw it worked the kindly did a qos setup video i will post it here But i think the more people who ask the better chances he might do it Plus there a fellow dumar army member so it might help there channel as well I cant post a link to there channel As im writing this on ps5 and you cant paste links Thanks btw i havent told MrBrutalFrosty i was writing this thread i hope it wofks

I tried 3 diffrent settings 1080p no 120 hz on cod ingame display latency I also tied 1444p still no 120 hz ingame network display An 4k still th same I forgot to mention i did tty the difrent display settings Also i did notice the cod mw2 beta was native running at 1444p by default If i set my ps5 to auto resulution it would cholse 1444p by default So makes me think running 4k woulsd upscale it
