I havent used my netdumar1 for a good few years I am runnin firmware 3.0 .207 Is this the latest firware for it As im trying to get it to work with my pd5 /as i sadly dont have my other routers znymore the r2 or the xr500

Hy there im the guy you mentioned in the start of this thread I think you said you was using the r2 Tp rules dont work propely on the xr500 from my recent testing On ther2 there working correctly Ile post the ports needed in a min few linds below here as its a complicated Private matchds and public matches run diffrent delays on ps5 Ile explain Private match playing on dedicated servers my ping to the server is 9ms on my dumar os Ingame it shows around 25ms this is on 120hz thats a delay of 16ms thats 60 hz In a public match playing on a 9ms ping on my dumaros Ingame ping shows around17ms on 120hz a delay of around 9ms thats 120hz delay Im finding better hit reg on the r2 early acess fw the one that has the dpi cloud update That and tp are great Im in the process of writing out everysingle port the game uses for better hit reg But theres hundreds maybe thousands As every game you play a new port is needed Heres what you should use for the time being Only one rule needed atm Rule1 Source 3074 -3074 destination 30000 -50000udp only This is my recomended ports for better hit reg on cod mw2 this isnt optimal I think i might have to do an updated thread for cod mw2

So i was asking a few questions I still need help with q1 does xr500 work with surfshark wireguard I have got my r2 working with surfshark open vpn and wireguard correctly But i cannot get wireguaed working on the xr500 it dosent have the same options as the r2 does On the r2 settings you can choos either open vpn or wireguard On the xr500 it dosent have the wireguard option liike r2 has Im pretty sure i can get open vpn to work on my xr5000 like i did on my r2 But i dont like using openvpn as it lowers mt speeds to mutch wireguard my speeds are still high

So is the cloud dpi update availible now on the xr500 I tried to setup surfshark on my r2 router with both types vpn configs openvpn and wireguard I couldnt get them working using templates here for wire shark I will probally right a new post too

I kjust wanted to ask Q1 Does surfshark wireguard work on nighthawk xr500 router / hybrid vpn Also q2 will xr500 have the new dpi fw like the r2 has availible

I aways use the ports fot mw2

I just found settings that make the colours more vibrant in a secret menu St2084 Its a hidden feature in lg tvs typing 1113111 in the picture settings brings you to this secret mode The problem is i dont know if its asafe you use this settings All i read on it so far st2084 changes the gamma curve of sd contenrt on hdr Anybody know about st2084 picture settings option

Thank you alex i have a very simmilar set to yours I have the lg c1 and the nova prls wired Do you have any good eq settings for cod Have you found ant good settings for your tv As im finding in game mode the piture is to dull and washed out its not vibrant enough Any tips

Anyways thanks for your advice Every year i quit cod and say i will never play it again or buty it again and i always end up buying it and quit after a few months Thank you @@trayday for the helpfull links Sett the most frustrating part is i know how playing cod mw2 original and bo1 play on my old line that i thought was optimized but wasnt and the game played ok my average kd was around 10 kills 3deathd my kd ratio was about 1.8 But i found out about fastpath profile aka interleaved off My kills per game was 27 kills to 2 deaths every game I would win nearly every ffa game on my optimized line This was on a 9db line I even used to to try difrent profiles 6b and 12db thinking they might be better But sadly they performed badly my kills droped to how it peformed before fastpath was enabled I would love to be able to redreate that old fastpath godlike line but far as i know it was a adsl thing Plust i created a thread ttying to find out how to do this but sadly i never found out how too Here is somthing i did notice that helped me in the last few daysmy hit detection has always been good since using my port ranges But i was always a sec behind But since i used a new port range im not feeling the lag comp effect as mutch i wasnt feeling a sec behind This was playing in a 17ms ingame ping with hdcp turned off on vanguard Ive seen from my testing over the years that the cod games were using these ports but i thought it was for data centre info But from my testing last few nights its seems its using these ports a lot of data is being used If anyones intreseted in trying it our for them selves the ports are Source 1 -65535 destination 443 -443 tcp Theses ranges seem to play betrer when i used cross play from my testing and i hate cross play Im guessing is because people say consoles use mainly udp But becaue it a pc server we play on it probally use tcp is my guess

Ive been playing cod since mw2 original i played every cod game I get sick of playing on a brilliant connection and being put at a disavantge in these cod games Im trying to get lag comp on my side its always against me it seems Sgt greeco i play a lot a real lot of hours a day when i play cod games as i had a lot of free time I always have cross play disabled only because of pc players have a loads of advantages Hacks and 240hx compaired to 120hz ps5 On ps4 60hz is a delay to our ping of aroung 16ms On ps5 120hz is a delay of 8ms around to your ping On pc if you can run 240 has a delay to your ping of sround 4ms around this is massive advantagein a fps game Im just trying to find ways to learn how to vpn for when mw2 starts incase i need it We all bought the router to help us for cod After reading and testing for a long period of time I found the ports that helped my hit detection it was from me starting many posts here asking for help I tyhen learned how to find the ports cod uses i think sgt greeco you actualky told me about you could see the ports used in openwrt stats page This little bit of infomation has helped me a maybe others As i game me the ability to find the port ranges a lot of users here used to use Source 3074 3076 destination 30000 to 45000 udp

I just recently starting to try vpn on call of duty games So i wanted to find out as mutch as possible about it What i would like to find out and what lve learned so far All info welcome As theres not a lot info about it On my ps5 this was I was using hidemyass If i wanted the game to think that i was in thecity i vpn it would only work it imy ps5 recognied it Doing a ps5 speed test would let you know if it recognied it by showing in ps5 tese it logged into 'sn network If it fails to recognise it in ps5 buy s/ying failed to connect in speed test It wont show your location in game This was with geo filter turned off Another indicator is on youtube the ads are in the regions you chose It is possible to et an open nat in game on ps5 on vangaurd For me if the internal ip is 3074 and external ip adress is port 3074 then i get an open nat from my testing so farif the external ip adress had difrent ports than 3074 it was a moderate nat I think i now know how to make the game think im in a city and play games around that area With no geo turned on I had a few games where i had geo turned on to london it was set And the game thought i was in italy And my ingame ping increaded to anout 78 ms around But on the dumar it would show my ping was only 8ms so the geo ping wasnt showing the adddd delay Can sombody explain why this is Most times tried this method it wasnt findind the data centres so i couldnt connect or find games What i wanna beable to do is set my location to eg london always and play in london to but the game thinks im in austrilia eg Ive done this before but i dont know how i did it I had my geo set to london and i played in london but my vpn is set to austrlia eg so ingame it shows im in aus But ingame the ping was still normal around 18ms so there wasnt a delay at all I dont like this method so far from my testing The reason i wanna keep my geo se t local is when i play with friends and family i dont wanna make them experience lag from me forcing a further away location If i wanted to do this i could easily do this on my dumaros already and ii dont want to effect my freinds I seen sombody here say they use port 443tco source 1 to 65535 destination tcp why do they chose 443tcp my understanding 443 was for the use of http or https Could sombody post a list of the cod server locations or the psn ser locations I think this might be helpful when trying to find out where to set your vpn to match the servers As my vpn has loads of location i have no clue if it near a cod server or psn server Somthing else i noticed when i ran the speed test in ps5 it would show me the psn server in that location if the speed test recognised it then i would allow it I think this might be really important in trying yo get the ps5 to think im in that location and play somwhere else

I bought the assus rt ax82u I made a big mistake i read i could see the stats and change snr with it boy was i wrong Lol i bought the wrong model i should have bought the asus dsl82u instead i found this out only when i rand asus Luckily i returned it so got a refund I just need to find another modem or router that can change snr on vdsl

I was buying the router so i could see my stats i wanted to but somthing that i could see my stats and also change them too I have a 8 yd old router i could see my stats on i might plug it in again

@RedBull2k i thinj thode models you mentioned 1 of them didnt support g. Inp i read somwhere When you tweaked the snr margin was that easy to do in the routers gui or did you have to dio it from telnet i think its called I been reading about a billion modem 8800nl r2 model that might be gold I think its supports g .inp and works on adsl2 but i think its a router as well I read you can easily tweak the snr margin on it Any body ere se this model before i dont know if its an old model i just read about it
