I prefer to use the geo ping Because from what you said above im guessing you play on a120hz Diffrent hz adds more or less delay from my testing Ile show you how to do this yourself quickly I have no clue what console or pc you play on But you said you play on 10ms geo ping Still connect to a 10ms server your ingame ping should be around28ms to 32ms if your playing at 120hd Then whilst in the exact same game disable 120hz so it goes back to 60hz default You can do this in the ingame settings Your ping ingame should rise from 30ms to around 45ms around Try this and see for your self

The private matches are a bif diffrent in this cod every new game puts you on a diffrent server after ever pm from my many hours of teseting pm I havent checked what ports pm use but i guess it should be the ones ive posted many times before in the forums I think i might check tonight what ports pm are using

Can we make a sticky threadd regarding this feature regardin g ping I see so many members ds here who state their ping but do not state if this is ingame ping or the ping on the netdumar geo filter As thers a big difrence from the two pings so if sombody says they play on a 50ms ping but dont state if its ingame ping or geo filter pingit gets a bit complicated Heres as few examples of this Eg1 I play on a 8ms ping on my geo filter on my ps5 But ingame the latency shows as 26ms around running 120hz Eg2 i playon a 8ms geo ping but in my ps5 it shows ingame ping as 44ms around runnin60hz The readon i think this is usefull If you wanna play on higher ping games And sombody recomends playing on a ping of 555ms You need to know if that the ping on the dumar geo filter ping or thats the ingame ping As trying to copy a members ping if its ingame ping is harder to find out how to copy it as diffrent consoles and pc runs at diffrent hz Ps460hz ps5 120hz pc240hz upto On this game 60ha zadds a delay of around 36ms to your geo ping on dumaros 120hz adds a delay of around 18ms to your geo filter ping And i think im not sure as i dont have sa pc to confirm this 240mz should add a delay of around 9ms around to your geo filter ping So if you wanna try to copy sombodys setting s to try to help lag comensation Its a lot easier to get help if people state theree geo ping is a lot less confusing This topic is meant for any one who wants to try this its not about if you think it works or not it just to show you how to do it and understand it I hope i made sence i know i will make a lot of typos sorry if i did it was done in a rush i will edit this after like i normally do lol

I never use ping heatmap when i put my home loction in the water

Heres another method that worked before many of us here Judt put your home location in the sea any where it dosent matter Set your ping assist to 40ms make sure strict mode is enabled Then just searcgh for a game I always turn off auto ping when i first login to find the data centre If you dont allow the data centre it wont find games Then soon as it shows the data centre is allowed turn on auto ping So it shows you the servers it connects too this method works for any one You just put in your lowest ping values in that you use

Why 750 Ive never heard any onr e recomend 750 before The lowets i ever tried in the past was 1320 around This was a few years ago From my experience with trying diffrent mtu values It only seems to work correctly if you do it on one ot the devices when i tried a few years ago I will be testing this out later today on ps5 IF ANYBODYS INTRESTED TRY THIS I just discover some new ports that cod mw2 are using And it using alot of data from my testing it actualky looks like its the main port from my testing It using 5 in these ranges so far inbetween these ranges0000 to 65000 destination 80 to 80 tcp Ive set my rule up like this so fsar this how i would set it up Rule 1Source 1 to 65535 detination 80 to 80 tcp only rule 2 ource 3074 to 3074 destination 35000 to 50000 udp only These are the ports that are the mainly used i m shocked the game is now using tcp 80

Two things i noticed First untick fast search you should disable it The uk server in the picture is im pretty sure the deamonware authetacation server So pleade keeep that allowed It now seems to be there for codmw2 it used to show it as america before I would lower your geo range and set it up directly above the colsets server Then i would set ping assist to 40ms and search for games If you find no game inrease the ping assist to 50 Then try again You said you found games at 40ms before So setting ping assist to 40 should find games

Thank you but that atriclw is for setting up the router in bridgw mode I dont want to put my xr500 into bridge mode As i cant use geo filter in bridgemode from my testing so far I just want to set up the vl/n on the rouyer or enable vlan on my router Im still learning about vlans

I have the xr500 How can i setup vlan on this router please help I only see the option to do it from brige mode If i try that it puts it into bridge mode and disables the geo filter Please help

Your probalyyy not forcing the servers correctly In order to find france or spain / any region matches you have to allow that regions data centre matchmaking server to your geo filter allow The best way to do this is by Click on the cod mw game in your console It actually looks forthe data cantre before you first start the game Before you press x to start game on ps5 ive teseted it Once youve acepted the data centre search for ganes You have to do this a few times to get all the data centres from thst region

I just wanted to update my pevious thoughts on the beta Im pretty sure i was wrong saying the beta ran at 60hz for me on ps5 Im now playing the game on full release And i am now totally confused to how mutch delay the game adds From my testing so far on ps5 its strange behavior My base ping on dumar os is around 8 to 9 ms on geo filter In game this show as 26ms latency a dealy of around 16ms this is at 120hz When i play on a base ping of 8ms and on 60hz the ingame ping is around 42 ms a delay of around 34ms In van guard the delays were a lot lower Eg Base ping 8ms on geo filter ingame ping was around 16ms at 120 hz a delay of 8ms = 120hz Base ping is 8ms ingame ping was 24 ms around on 60hz a delay of 16ms= 60hz delay The delays sound right to me on vanguard But on mw2 the delays dont add up to me Can sombody explain to me whats wrong Or what im doing wrong i just dont get it From my understanding 120 is 8ms And 60hz is 16ms around far as im aware

I just found settings that make the colours more vibrant in a secret menu St2084 Its a hidden feature in lg tvs typing 1113111 in the picture settings brings you to this secret mode The problem is i dont know if its asafe you use this settings All i read on it so far st2084 changes the gamma curve of sd contenrt on hdr Anybody know about st2084 picture settings option

Im on ps5 sadly we cant use dolby atmos or really realy ban news we cant use sonar atm i I really ho#e sonar becomes availible on ps5 i actualy bought them for this abilitty

Anyways thanks for your advice Every year i quit cod and say i will never play it again or buty it again and i always end up buying it and quit after a few months Thank you @@trayday for the helpfull links Sett the most frustrating part is i know how playing cod mw2 original and bo1 play on my old line that i thought was optimized but wasnt and the game played ok my average kd was around 10 kills 3deathd my kd ratio was about 1.8 But i found out about fastpath profile aka interleaved off My kills per game was 27 kills to 2 deaths every game I would win nearly every ffa game on my optimized line This was on a 9db line I even used to to try difrent profiles 6b and 12db thinking they might be better But sadly they performed badly my kills droped to how it peformed before fastpath was enabled I would love to be able to redreate that old fastpath godlike line but far as i know it was a adsl thing Plust i created a thread ttying to find out how to do this but sadly i never found out how too Here is somthing i did notice that helped me in the last few daysmy hit detection has always been good since using my port ranges But i was always a sec behind But since i used a new port range im not feeling the lag comp effect as mutch i wasnt feeling a sec behind This was playing in a 17ms ingame ping with hdcp turned off on vanguard Ive seen from my testing over the years that the cod games were using these ports but i thought it was for data centre info But from my testing last few nights its seems its using these ports a lot of data is being used If anyones intreseted in trying it our for them selves the ports are Source 1 -65535 destination 443 -443 tcp Theses ranges seem to play betrer when i used cross play from my testing and i hate cross play Im guessing is because people say consoles use mainly udp But becaue it a pc server we play on it probally use tcp is my guess
