JoshTheLuz reacted to nowmat in Issue with software 3.3.615 beta: Geofilter saying “connecting” and then doesn’t enter the game and start over searching in loop - MW3
I have a similar problem, when I selected Warsaw, it tries to connect me to the same server in Amsterdam...
Isn't it sometimes incorrectly located by NetDuma?
When I enter the server's IP address on the IP location page, it shows Germany, and I also have a very low ping over such a long distance, it shows ping 20-23, normally in these areas I have a ping above 40ms

JoshTheLuz reacted to Netduma Fraser in ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
Well currently we haven't started porting it to the R2 so it could be awhile before you see it so you'll get it sooner with the R3. Features such as the dynamic RGB based on what is being prioritized will only be on the R3 as the R2 doesn't have RGB. Plus generally the R3 has much better hardware - better than the XR1000 if you're familiar with that so it will generally run a lot better as it was made on the R3.

JoshTheLuz got a reaction from MainLifeline in Optimal settings for ps5 and spectrum internet
First, you need to go to the geofilter section and add a device, in this case, the PS5. Then create a geofilter by drawing a square around the nearest Call of Duty server, which you can find by going to Ping heatmap, selecting Warzone 2, and finding the closest server with the lowest ping.
Once you've done this, you'll always force your connection to that server, ensuring the lowest possible latency.
Next, go to QoS and set both upload and download to 30%, with automatic activation.
Then connect all devices in your house to the Netduma.
In QoS, select the "devices" option and allocate 100% of the bandwidth to the PS5, so that when the PS5 is connected, all other devices in the house have 0% priority. Make sure that the "share excess bandwidth" option is enabled in the dropdown menu so that unused bandwidth can be used by other devices, otherwise they will remain offline.
Next, enable the ad blocker in the Netduma.
And, of course, connect the PS5 via LAN instead of Wi-Fi.
Finally, go to the Netduma's LAN settings and change the DNS to Cloudflare's

JoshTheLuz reacted to lg3d123 in Warzone 2: Can someone in Chile help me with a traceroute test?
hello i am from bolivia and i have the same problem
1) The hosting that activision uses in mw2 and warzone in chile and part of brazil is https://www.latitude.sh/ and has a small connection and a bad routing in the region Argentina, bolivia, peru, paraguay, uruguay, brazil with high ping ( latency ).
2) The reason why it does not connect to the warzone 2 server in chile is because they can not fill 150 players, for the reason of high ping (latency) and routing to hosting (Latitude.sh) of activision.
3) If Microsoft manages to buy Activision the servers go to Microsoft Azure which has a region in Chile with greater capacity throughout the region. or switch to another hosting google cloud, oracle cloud, i3D.
4) The only ISP that has a direct routing to (ixpchile) and activision server is Entel Peru with a ping (latency) 30 ms.
link to ping (latency) test to activision hosting ( https://lg.latitude.sh/ )

JoshTheLuz got a reaction from Netduma Liam in Geofilter Compatibility Issue with Netduma's Hybrid VPN: A Call for Resolution
Many users would like to see the feature of Ping Heatmap updated to reflect the ping values through the VPN, and I am one of them. It would be very helpful if the Ping Heatmap could show real-time ping values under HybridVPN connections, so that we can understand the impact of the VPN on latency.
It would be ideal if this feature could be implemented with a dropdown menu that allows users to switch between viewing ping values with and without the VPN

JoshTheLuz got a reaction from Alex49H in feedback from those using vpn
Using a VPN does not necessarily make the lobbies easier in Warzone or any other game that uses Skill-Based Matchmaking (SBMM). It is a common misunderstanding that using a VPN can bypass SBMM. In reality, SBMM is still active even if you are using a VPN.
However, it is true that using a VPN can create a network condition that results in high latency, making the game unplayable. When the latency is too high, the game will prioritize finding the best server available to optimize the poor connection. This often leads to being placed in a random lobby that is more likely to have lower-skilled players since the majority of players in the game are casual players.
It's important to note that in order to create this network condition, you must connect to a VPN server that provides more than 180ms of latency. But even if you manage to achieve this, you will likely have to deal with phantom bullets and other issues that come with high latency.
In summary, using a VPN may not necessarily make the lobbies easier in Warzone or any other game that uses SBMM. Instead, it can create a poor network condition that will make the game unplayable, and even if you do manage to achieve that condition, it's unlikely to be an enjoyable gaming experience due to the high latency and other issues
