  1. The update before, I had to downgrade, but this update (4.0.540) has improved my ping and my speeds, on call of duty I've been averaging 60 to 100 kills on multiplayer, it's hitting the mark and this is the best one so far after using it since it was released. Great job guys.
  2. After along time thinking it was my network and even with having low ping, it was my gaming monitor with wrong settings. Now I don't lag at all, I recently started to use Extreme Response (MBR) and it's a game changer.
  3. @Netduma FraserThis new update has been working out for me- no restarts, connects to everything on WIFI, streaming services are running good, and gaming has been good.
  4. @Netduma FraserIf there is early access for the R3 I would like to request it as well please
  5. Once you put your R3 in DMZ on your ISP's router reboot it. Then I put my console in DMZ on the R3 then rebooted it. This solves the issue with it being strict.
  6. No, everything is working fine. Just wanted to throw that question out there from what I saw online
  7. There's no goal, it's just a question. Wanted to know what others do, I saw online some turn it off when they use DMZ
  8. If you use DMZ, should you disable Upnp?
  9. @helpmeIn commode prompt on your PC type ipconfig/renew
  10. @Ace_Uk1000 This happen to me also, I ended up setting all my device again, for example on my TV or phone I went into the settings and press "forget password", then I re-entered the password, and it fixed the issue. Try this and let me know if it worked.
  11. They have dedicated servers
  12. The recommendations worked, thank you
  13. After factory resetting the R3, it works well for two days. However, on the third day, it starts to act sluggish, eventually preventing me from accessing the router's page. On this same day, it connects me to whatever servers are on MW3, and the geofilter stops blocking servers. Only setting I use is DMZ to PS5. I delete ps5 from R3, then resync then add it back, PS5 is off when I try this and it doesn't change anything. I didn't want to factory reset, to avoid entering all my wifi and dmz info again, so I ended up reinstalling the update. That seems to work for now, but I know I'll be doing it again in another 2 days.
  14. I would have to wait until I do another factory reset to mimic the same situation. I'll keep you posted
  15. @FuzyI've tried multiple cables and tried on another computer @ChrisG82I'll look into that
  16. @Netduma FraserIt's any of the ports, I'll wait 30 minutes, run a speed test and the port will run slow. It's odd unless I disconnect then reconnect the Ethernet wire, that's my only fix to making it run at full speed again.
  17. I'm using Speedtest.net, wired connected to my computer. Problem still persist with one port always slow and the others running fine. Every time I restart my R3 at least one of my ports is not running at full speed. I take the ethernet wire out of one port and put it on another port, then I did another speed test. For some odd reason 3 out of the 4 ports run at full speed. This is right after a factory reset or turning off/on my R3, the only solution I found is to take out the ethernet wire from the port, then putting it back after 30sec. After that all ports run at full speed, just a heads up for the next update t maybe fix this.
  18. I'm using Speedtest.net, wired connected to my computer. Problem still persist with one port always slow and the others running fine.
  19. @TheTerpinator710 @Netduma Fraser Every time I restart my R3 at least one of my ports is not running at full speed. TheTerpinator, take the ethernet wire out of one port and put it on another port, then do another speed test, I bet this will increase your speeds. for some odd reason 3 out of the 4 ports run at full speed.
  20. @Netduma Fraser Same here I have to physically turn off/on the R3 everyday, gets stuck on reloading the page. Does not matter what web browser I'm using.
  21. Some of yawl got to look up some YouTube video's because I haven't really experienced any issues, and if you are playing over WIFI, you should really give up gaming lol
  22. If you are having issues with R3, here are the steps I have taken with some improvements, but we will have to wait for the updates, for the R3 to show me I don't' have to do these steps every other day. 1.Do speed test on R3 side menu, after you get your speed result save it, make sure you press the "update network speed" button to save it. 2. Do "Ping Optimizer" after the R3 finds your best ping press the "Optimize Now" button to save it., after you have done these 2 steps, do a bufferbloast test from waveform, google it...you should now get an A or A+ (I do this everyday to ensure I have a A+ why everyday, because your network speeds can change everyday, depending how many people in your house are on the network and watching porn). This should resolve your bloat issues. If you can't do a speed test or ping test on your R3...sorry buddy you have to do a factory reset on your R3. If you still can't do a speed test or ping test, you probably are connected to a router and need to go into that primary routers settings and set a DMZ for your router or you could put your primary router in bridge mode, in some cases you will lose access, as in you won't be able to log into your routers page after you put your primary router in bridge mode. 3. After you have done steps 1 and 2, next step is to go into "Ping Heatmap" then go to choose a game and pick the game you play. You will see all the servers for the game you play, take a mental note of the server that is closest and shows the lowest number ping in your area ( I play call of duty and saw a server with a ping of 16 ) 4. Go to Geofiler ( DO NOT HAVE YOUR PS5, PS4, Xbox on or PC- don't have the game open) Click on "Add Device" look for your gaming system... note if you have never connected your R3 to the router you will not see your system, make your sure you have at least connected the R3 to your system at least once so you could see your systems name when you click add device. Next click on Steady ping, I disable it, I think it works, but I like to disable it to get the lowest ping when I play. This works for me because my internet is reliable, for those that have bad internet, keep "Steady Ping" on. 5. In Geofilter set your home, click on the little house icon on the right button, then click any where on the map to set your home. a circle radius will pop up on the map with your home location in the middle. Remember that mental note I mention before, this is where you remember the location of the lowest ping server, make sure the server is within that radius. If you want to use expert mode in geofilter, draw a box around the server- the servers do not show themselves in geofilter that is why you have guess and remember where the server was, when you looked it up on the ping heat map. Turn on your system and enjoy. On Call of duty if you have moderate showing and not open, you have to open up the ports on your R#, I set the PS5 in DMZ with it's own IP, this is what worked for me, if after doing this it still shows moderate, you have to set the primary router in DMZ for the R3 ( I just use the R3, no primary, but some might be forced to use a internet provided router) After all this I have great games. Trouble shooting on some issues with the R3 A) When the next day comes if I'm having issues, I reboot the R3, and it works fine. B ) If I'm playing a game and the filter picks a server outside my radius circle, I turn off my Game console, then delete my console from the geofilter, go on the top right(3 dots) then press Resync Cloud, then add back my Game console. After that turn on your gaming console and you should be good. It might also take up to ten minutes to connect to a game because you are limiting your self to one server, if you want add more servers to your geofilter, look at ping heat map again to see the next lowest ping server and add that to your geofilter. If this does not work sorry buddy you have to do a master reset. In a perfect world I wouldn't have to do this 2 to 5 times a week, but appreciate the R3 and will wait for the update...Hope this helps everyone. Note: if you join a party in call of duty you won't be able to connect with them unless they are within your radius on the geofilter. This is where I enable steady ping mode and uncheck strict in the geofilter settings. Then you should be fine to play with friends, or you could expand your radius to make it bigger to include your friends, if you want to keep it on strict mode, on the Geofilter map if you are in a party, a white circle will show, these are your friends. On expert mode in geofiler you could draw a square around them.

  24. @Newfie I'm really not looking for test results I simply want to know what the antennas dbi is, the reason behind this is because I want to see if I can buy different type of Wi-Fi antenna for the R3 to extend my range
