x12Tyler reacted to Netduma Fraser in Very low speeds
I've reported this to the team to take a look into so hopefully they'll get to the bottom of it

x12Tyler got a reaction from Zli in Very low speeds
WiFi was fine it was just the lan ports that was slow. My son sit there all day after my wife picked him up from his moms early on the morning not being able to update his game and I sleep during the day since I work at night. So I just reverted back, to much of a headache to deal with

x12Tyler got a reaction from Zli in Very low speeds
All I tried was switching all the ports around and found only 1 of the 4 would give the actual speeds, they decided to just revert back to .170

x12Tyler got a reaction from TrayDay in Hit detection
I’m having games like this and depending on how long the game lasts I’m consistent at over a 2kd getting 50-80 kills a game. Seems like it was only that first night it was inconsistent for me ever since then it’s been playing great.
Now the ping thing bugs me on xdefiant I get a low of like 30-32 average but I haven’t seen it go above 40. On other games though my lowest can go to 13.

This is the same for anyone who wants to try adding it to smart boost as well.

And I’m not promoting anything. People on here asked and I told as much as I know what was done. It does suck we all wasted our money on the r3 but it is what it is. And I can tell you there will be no firmware update that will ever come out for the r3 that will give you the type of hit detection I’m experiencing now, it might fix some of the issues the router itself has and you might get good hit detection(likely would get it with any router if that was the case though anyway) but not like what I’m getting after everything was done.
Main reason I even got the r3 was for steady ping and the videos I watched on it acted like it would only add 5ms but instead adds 10-12ms most of the time then in warzone never even stabilizes even though it’s not really spiking .
—been in pc since mw19 and played cod all my life.
—Have tried multiple routers like the xr500, xr1000, r2,r3, Asus Rog rapture.
—went through multiple pcs and monitors thinking something might be wrong there.
I can tell you for a fact what was done took my hit detection to another level so I guess I’ll keep my bogus settings to myself and get called a hacker by players trusting people like you guys. 🤷♂️ don’t bother me I’m actually finally able to compete with the best in the world. Beat a squad of 3 of the top 6 top 250’s the other night with my 13 year old 😂

x12Tyler got a reaction from Deasha in Bye bye R3
I love my r3 but I’m not going to lie that something is seriously wrong with it and the hit detections. Some days I get decent hit detection then others just plain poopy. The last weeks or so it’s been so dog poopy I’m losing the most unrealistic gun battles to the point I thought it was just my internet itself but I just switched back to my Asus gt ax11000 pro and I’m getting hit detection I could only dream about.

Some extremely ungrateful members in this forum. the R3 does its job.

Have patience!!! Why would you want a rushed firmware thats not ready? You guys are complaining, you think rushing them is going to make your gaming experience better?
Yes it has a couple hiccups but all pc components / consoles and software do too, why they are always updating firmware, software, and drivers... have patience

x12Tyler got a reaction from TODDzillaInLA in Limited speeds
Rebooting the router did seem to make it go back to normal though so idk what caused it to do that. I’ll have to keep an eye on it and see if it lowers again at any point. Best to reboot the router every day anyway right before you play or your games will play like crap anyway in my own personal experience
-
x12Tyler reacted to Aimz in Limited speeds
That’s a known bug with congestion control.. rebooting the router fixes it.
-
x12Tyler reacted to Netduma Fraser in Screen mirroring
Ah no that usually means for example, the WiFi from one router - for example, if one was connected to your upstream ISP router WiFi and one to the R3 it wouldn't work

x12Tyler got a reaction from CES in It's been almost two months since the last update. When can we expect fixes for issues, we are all struggling with?
I agree but all the videos about steady ping seem to indicate if you only ping only increase by 1-2 let’s say you start at 10 but it fluctuates by 1-2 making it 11-12ms at times then steady ping is still going to help you and will remove all jitter and stuff so if that isn’t the case all those promotion videos for steady ping are kinda misleading.

In the promotion videos the first one in particular it was saying or made it sound like only around 5ms would be added but it seems like on mine anyway it adds more even though I only fluctuate by 1-2ms. It don’t really seem to hurt I guess but it’s something I noticed. The only major issue I saw and it’s a weird one is with valorant, I did a lot of research and the issue is caused by internet somehow but it would take forever to load me into the games don’t ask me why but that never happened and still didn’t happen on my sons pc but just even loading into a 1v1 made it take 2-3 mins on mine and in game the connection felt super jittery and choppy compared to normal . Lucky for me I don’t play valorant anymore and was only going into a 1v1 cause my son thought he could beat me.

x12Tyler reacted to Kerry Aldae in wtf is the hold up on my refund?
Fraser asked for the order# which wasn't included with device btw
I inform Fraser that no receipt slip was included, as in, physically shipped.
I then ask Fraser what info is needed to find order#? He ignored msg or got fired.
I dig through past emails and provide order# as requested.
Which should've been printed out and shipped with device to begin with.
You have my order# What's the hold up.

x12Tyler reacted to Movement in When is a update coming
I'm feeling like Im beta tester for something I was pay with my own money if nothing changes even though the time for the refund has already passed, I will have to ask for a refund because I was misled and according to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I have the right to do so if something does not work as advertised and has not been repaired.

x12Tyler got a reaction from Stilts29 in When is the NEW Firmware that FINALLY FIXES ALL these issues!?
Yeah but you don’t get an r3 for wifi performance if you want something like that get an Asus Rog rapture which I also have, has like 8 antennas and great wifi performance as well as good gaming performance. You should be getting the r3 specifically for the gaming features it brings.

x12Tyler reacted to Kfb in PING NOT STABILIZED
hello everyone, I have a big problem I just received the netduma r3 and it was like a child's dream I thought I would finally be rid of ghost bullets, lag in my games ping raise etc, the problem is that with the netduma r3 I cannot stabilize my connection. it says ping not stabilized and when I click a message impossible to stabilize the ping because the connection is too unstable or incompatible. I put my router in bridge mode it didn't work, I put it in console device manager it didn't work... I put the dmz of my box on dumaos and it still didn't work!! my question is why buy a 200€ router to make my connection worse?? I would like to be reimbursed, there is probably no solution.. -
x12Tyler reacted to Gskillz in When is the NEW Firmware that FINALLY FIXES ALL these issues!?
Some of yawl got to look up some YouTube video's because I haven't really experienced any issues, and if you are playing over WIFI, you should really give up gaming lol

x12Tyler reacted to Netduma Fraser in When is the NEW Firmware that FINALLY FIXES ALL these issues!?
I appreciate you're frustrated but posts like this doesn't make it any faster or allow me to give you any more information. I'm sure you would rather we take our time getting it right rather than rushing out an update that could cause you more issues. If you're having problems do make a topic and I'll be happy to help you.

x12Tyler reacted to Stilts29 in When is the NEW Firmware that FINALLY FIXES ALL these issues!?
I'm with @x12Tyler on this, I can't see why there are so many issues with geofilter. On latest version with geo latency off and a polygon drawn around my nearest servers it always connects to one of them. As i've said before I think some of these issues are with the game developers, VPN use, matchmaking within the game for example will trump any router settings. I can connect to my local server but I can't stop other players connecting to that server too.
You need to set a filter per device, per game as I understand it and ideally have only one activated (maybe). Resync the cloud from time to time and if you make any changes to the Geofilter close down your games first and then restart after you have made the changes.
If steady ping adds too much ping then turn it off. But if you are connecting to your nearest server this shouldnt be an issue, or use expert mode to limit how much ping is increased if that works better.

very bad product overall
now its just 200 usd toy for my 10 month old daughter who play with antenna's
hilarious product and biggest mistake i have ever done for buying this router.
i will never buy again a netduma router even they sell for free.
conclusion
never launch a product when it is not even useful to surf internet whereas you guys are claiming best gameplay with ping etc
i feel like i got scammed lol........

x12Tyler got a reaction from Hammer37167 in NEW R3 FIRMWARE 4.0.41
Been using since the r1 as well, I also have a 1gig up and down fiber internet connection. I geo specifically to the Georgia server since it’s the lowest for me at 14-15ms. I’m not being toxic but there is nothing else you could do to break sbmm just router related to be getting pure bot lobbies like your posting, I will say it can slightly reduce the sbmm but not to a drastic bot lobby level, I’m sorry your ego is hurt but I would crush players like you and yes I get you were camping the corner because you were on a 20+ streak I do the same thing on shipment once I get to about 20, fyi I’m a high level iridescent player and I never said anything about hit detection as mine is just as good, the difference is the players in my lobbies are just more skilled then what your coming up against(if that is what your playing on a normal basis which it might not be) which is normal for a high skilled player like me compared to players like you(No Offense). And I’m also dropping nukes at times in those lobbies. I mainly play ranked now that it’s out.
—The only way I’ve seen pure bot lobbies like I’ve seen in the 2 games you posted is 2 boxing and joining a bot account. Good for you and 2 thumbs up if you can get those normally but that don’t happen for some of us. I literally get accused of cheating and get lobbies where it’s a coin toss every game on if there will be cheaters in them.
