KinGzzy got a reaction from Zli in No Longer Caught in the Rabbit Hole – My Best Settings for FPS Games
I installed OpenWRT and SQM after hours of figuring it out and battling with myself. I finally managed to get everything set up. They even suggested I do a bufferbloat test. "See screenshot," and after several tests on my favorite video game, COD, the result is amazing.
I didn't know he had created such a well-thought-out geofilter.

Thanks to @Chaiyoabc for all the explanations and for pointing us in the right direction.
I think I've found the right PMU.

I would also like someone to explain PMU 😁... MPU to me like a 6-year-old child.

KinGzzy got a reaction from Netduma Fraser in GeoFilter Not Working After New BO6 Update
They added a few more servers and a lot of relay servers which are mainly located in Singapore but nothing too bad just a little extra work. But know that these servers are not visible right away they will appear as the blockage intensifies.
at least that's what happened on my side.

KinGzzy reacted to Thorkay in BO6: Instantly getting melted or shooting first and dying first? Your not the only one!!!
Thats whole point why you get low ping using a cod vpn as its not sending all traffic through the vpn meaning its faking where your location is if its doing that then you aint really at that location its spoofing your location to provide a false one .. If you use a normal vpn you will get high ping as its sending all data traffic then if you check whats my ip address your ip will show to whatever location you selected a cod vpn will not do that its not made for that purpose nor will it works as a normal vpn as its not a normal vpn it would need the config adjusted for that to work correctly .. Connecting to a location over 1000 miles away from you and you have low ping when searching should tell you how it kinda works .. As for Geo they can not see that either being used no way to detect it

@TODDzillaInLAThere is no way to tell go and test it yourself lmfao connect to a call of duty vpn then check whats your ip address watch it provide the same ip as your home ip address a call of duty vpn is not a normal vpn nor do they work as a normal vpn or in the same way .. As for second server you will see more then one server if using a vpn or geo Thats the vpn location then the other is server location .. I have used a vpn in cod for over 3 years .. I actually dont use other cod vpns like 99% user base do i use one i made myself as its so easy to create this how ano about all info i have and what ports can be used so on av tested everything i even have a kd stats so i can see what locations give what lobby kd for each match i dont just connect to a server and say its good i have the full results to back up what i say ...

KinGzzy got a reaction from Krush in Assistance with Bridging Netduma R2 to Unifi Gateway for PS5 Geolocation Use
Your initial configuration was more or less good since the R2 received an IP in 192.168.6.xx except for the forwarding ports that I could see you had put the IP in 192.168.1.119 instead of 192.168.6.xx and for the dhcp range do not start with 1 but rather from 10. Seen in the R2 logs there is a dhcp error compared to the IP of the PS5 I advise you to do a manual configuration of the network at the PS5 level...Configure vlan 6 to the desired port at the unifi level...Test it like that already....

A simple wireguard tunnel is enough, that's what I use to access my network remotely.

KinGzzy reacted to jonnyg56 in My settings for Good Hit detection MW3 <R3 Router
I think when you add 28 to your maximum MTU the 28 is reserved for header data which gives you your optimum MTU.

What I want to say is: I checked the MTU in the WAN settings on the ISP device and I found that it was 1492, which did not match the results I was getting when I checked 1492. The packets need to be fragmented. I found that 1472 is fine for me and doesn't need framgmantation. I changed the MTU. Then I called my ISP and asked them for a static IP address that will only be mine (all public IP addresses you have are shared with other clients of theirs) (your public address is used by 10 other clients from your ISP and you share the same public IP address that changes over time ) Static (personally my IP) costs 5 euros per month. I put R3 in the DMZ in the modem/router from my ISP. I asked my ISP to put their device in bridge mode. R3 has absolute control of everything..Enabled IGMP on the modem from my ISP and set snooping. Enabled only one LAN port for R3 and disabled all others. I set the PS5 console in R3 so that it is PS and not a console. I also set MTU 1472 in R3. The TCP protocol on R3 for Sony is disabled.I disabled Smartboost because only the Sony, tv and two phones are connected to the R3.For now, this is how my PS5 works and hit detection is really good. I don't have below 30kills in the game. I play Control and Teamdethmatch.

KinGzzy reacted to Proud R3 Owner in R3 PRO / R4
No I know I didn't want you to think I was criticizing you either. And I'm 43 so I guess I shouldn't say I'm old (even though some days I feel it). 😆

I understand you completely and it is not a criticism that I am making to you on the contrary the thread of the subject discussing on the different alternatives (pfsense, ddwrt, opnsense) I just gave my opinion on debian to have tested them all . And I started tinkering very late and it became a passion.
I'm not here to tell people what to do or not to do.

We certainly would do that if implemented, unfortunately sometimes people don't equate an issue appearing to a change they've made.
That's a great project but yes even before the launch of the company it started as a one man project so the CTO understands the grind and I was able to witness that. If you're having issues just coming back the next day with fresh eyes can do the world of good, don't give up!

Pour qu'une route statique fonctionne elle doit être réaliser dans les deux sens "aller/retour" c'est a dire une route sur la freebox et une autre sur le R3.
