  1. Thats good to hear that it did good, hopefully Netgear won't let u guys wait too long. If there is a early tester for XR700 firmware u can include me if possible. Keep us posted and good luck for the new year
  2. @Netduma Fraser @Netduma Liam You guys let us know when the XR700 beta is available for testers ? Cheers guys and keep up the good work 👍
  3. @kinelyes I know, but thats exactly what I dont want (dont want to prioritize chatparty) Only the Udp packets used for gaming I want to be prioritized. Thats why I dont use Games Console because it will prioritize chatparty traffic and some other stuff as well.
  4. Hi guys wish u all a happy and healthy New Year. Where do we stand like with the fw updates for the XR700 ? Because we getting told everytime after the XR500 but we (XR700 users) are waiting literally for over 2 years since a DumaOs update. U guys need to fix this 3.3 firmware update for the XR700 it is not possible to take 2 years+ for a DumaOs migration of software to the XR700. Get us some info and where do we stand for all the XR700 owners out there, we need to get some clear water because been in dark waters for the past 2 years.
  5. No with games console enabled it detects (turns on TP) when I start a chatparty on the PlayStation as well without playing CoD, with the TP rules set self (3074S - 30000-45000D) it doesnt light up-prioritize ports when im in chatparty.
  6. I thought it would be the XR700 next in line as the one waiting the longest for updates. Hope u guys fix a update for XR700 been waiting for years for fw ever since fw 1.0.1.36 from 12-2020 there hasnt been a update in 2 years
  7. But I assume the XR700 will be the next one after XR500 to get the 3.2 update ?
  8. @Netduma Liamand where does the update for the XR700 stand right now after XR500 beta will be pushed out ?
  9. Thank you for your reply, cant wait to try out 3.2 on XR700. Btw plugged yesterday my XR700 with 1.0.1.34 fw in and it performs way better on Cod MWII then the R2 or the ASUS router that I was fiddling with the past 2 weeks due to not so good hit reg and a bit delayed feeling in-game. Felt the difference immediately hit reg with the XR700 is on point with the 1.0.1.34 firmware and same settings as how I configure the other routers.
  10. @Netduma LiamDoes this apply for the XR700 as well ? Or does the XR700 have different bugs/or does need different development of firmware
  11. I am waiting literally almost half a year for the XR700 beta to come ⌛🪦
  12. @Killhippie i am gonna keep it short and simple. I am a customer who bought a router that has been released for 2 years so expect at least support for the coming 2-3 years. I bought a Nighthawk Pro Gaming XR700 in 2018 i didnt buy a R9000 in 2016 or "18 so I expect some support for the product that i bought. And about the TV's, 1 u can't compare a tv with a router and 2 tv's get software and firmware updates even years after release. And I had a ASUS GT-11000AX in summer 2019, that WiFi 6 is not so big as u think, there are not even so much devices that support it, back then my Samsung S10 was the only device i had that have WiFi 6 and in my case i use wired connection for gaming.
  13. @Netduma Fraser i didn't mean it bad or harsh in a way i have no problem with the way u phrased it, just want to get this out in the world so maybe NETGEAR wakes up and think, hey there are people aware that we are lacking on our products support. ASUS RT-AC5300 is released end of 2015 i have mine since begin of 2016, sorry my bad NETGEAR XR700 was released 2018. It stays a expensive product that people have bought and they expect frequent updates especially for routers, lots of bugs, security updates and internet connections changing. Dhcp issues, driver updates, get Routed-IPTV working, load some ISP profiles from different regions like if u are W-EU u get only like from those countries main ISP's.
  14. @Netduma Fraser at first i didnt want to reply on the topic as i know u are always willing to help and do your best for us here at the forum but as i feel like your the one we can speak through to Netduma and Netgear i had to say something. 1st of all i dont know a router which firmware got updated and someone had to pay for it (we already paid when we bought the router). 2nd it is totally ridiculous that a router had 6 updates in it's 2-year life (it is as well one of the high end routers of NETGEAR). I compared the updates for my 2015 ASUS RT-AC5300 vs 2018 NETGEAR XR700 the ASUS had 7 firmware updates in 2020 only (and they are working on 386. firmware currently 384. there is a beta running for 386. as well) while the NETGEAR XR700 had only 6 firmware updates since 2018.
  15. @Netduma Fraser You told me on the 11th of September a few weeks for XR700 beta it is now over a month later still nothing, Netgear doesnt understand that their clients needs their products to get updated and not once in a year. I signed up for XR700 beta somewhere in June/July as far I can remember, still didnt hear anything yet from NETGEAR.
  16. Still all the servers for COD that are in Amsterdam the Netherlands don't appear in the Netherlands some appear in France,Poland, Germany also in ping heatmap they get in France cluster and some in Germany. On a few occasions there appear 1 in the Netherlands, while there are a lot of servers hosting for COD from the Netherlands Amsterdam.
  17. Any news about DumaOs 3.0 beta for XR700 ?
  18. @Netduma Fraser It is really frustrating that Netgear leave buyers of one of their topmodel routers with such a big lack of support for that product almost none updates for drivers, upnp, security cert, even for the DPI I can imagine it needs updates so it can categorize the packets. It is really disappointing.
  19. Still no 3.0 for XR700 ? Haven't heard nothing about XR700 DumaOs upgrade, the topmodel that didn't get a upgrade or support for a year this is ridiculous. Netgear should be ashamed of the very low level of support for a 400€,£,$ router. I am using my 2016 ASUS now because I am done with this very slow updates that literally take ages. How can ASUS push almost every month a firmware update for a 4-5 year old model and keep updating their routers to work good and Netgear totally fails on this one. It feels like a big middle finger to us the clients, from Netgear to us.
  20. @Netduma Fraser i think he meant the .24 for XR700 as it is beta firmware though it is almost a year old 😆
  21. @hifi31029 what is broken when u use the XR700? @sharpz44 yes I am using .24 and it is working perfectly it had 2 bugs in the beginning that it says 1: there is a new firmware update while it was already on .24. 2: and a UI error but that was due to my browser. For the rest i didnt come across any other bugs.
  22. I am using the XR700 for 2 years and it is always working perfectly never had a bug or something that doesn't work. But still I think the fw updates are very very poor, a product like this needs at least like 3-4 updates a year. Btw i always perform a factory reset before and after a firmware update especially with XR700 there ain't so much updates to do 😄😆 so go for a clean update and after a update/factory reset let your router chill for a good 10 minutes there are many things happening in the background so be patient.
  23. I was thinking today the last firmware update for XR700 is 10 months ago 🤔 Are there no plans for a firmware update for XR700 or is DumaOs 3.0 beta coming closer for it also ? Those months of waiting are long guys.
  24. Okay that sounds good, is there no update on the sign-up procedure for XR700 because i signed up from Netgear but didnt receive nothing back.
