  1. I was playing since the beta in 4k@120hz, Vrr was also working as how it supposed to be. Everything was just working from the beta and 60hz doesnt add a delay of 32ms compared to 120hz 🙃
  2. Thank you for your reply, cant wait to try out 3.2 on XR700. Btw plugged yesterday my XR700 with 1.0.1.34 fw in and it performs way better on Cod MWII then the R2 or the ASUS router that I was fiddling with the past 2 weeks due to not so good hit reg and a bit delayed feeling in-game. Felt the difference immediately hit reg with the XR700 is on point with the 1.0.1.34 firmware and same settings as how I configure the other routers.
  3. @Netduma LiamDoes this apply for the XR700 as well ? Or does the XR700 have different bugs/or does need different development of firmware
  4. @FuzyAh okay now i understand, but I think u should try disable all the other options u dont need and I think u get 120hz @1440p on series s without Vrr
  5. @Fuzy @K0NSPIRACY I am on PS5 with a Samsung ls28ag70 https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/samsung/odyssey-g7-s28ag70. I see also 4k@120hz with or without VRR, with VRR enabled I see only in the main menu pre-match the fps fluctuating between 90-100fps but as soon the match starts it goes to 120hz (on Cod Vanguard, Warzone, MW2 beta) and it does this on 1080p and 4k@120hz. Btw 1440p@hz as well for the games mentioned above. Btw I dont use VRR I have it disabled because I have no screen tearing and have input low lag mode on (with VRR it gets greyed out on my monitor) @Fuzywhy u have allow 4k enabled ? As u play on 1440p and is your screen able to do 4k ?
  6. @l2eactionzhe has it on 1440p. @Fuzy do you have VRR enabled ? thats maybe why u see the different hz if so disable VRR and u would get a locked 120hz ( but im not 100% sure if that is on the Series S as well).
  7. Hope the XR700 doesnt get forgotten 😅 Really wondering how it will perform with the new software, because it is a beast of a machine mine still performing perfectly with a lot of devices connected and getting lower ping and bufferbloat results then any other router I have laying around here. If there is any beta program out for the XR700 would love to get included to test out 😁
  8. @Netduma Liam Any news out for the XR700 DumaOs 3.2 update because thats really a long time ago it had a update for the DumaOs. If i was correct first the XR500 then XR700 and after that the XR1000 will get the update if i am right ?
  9. I would say use a Mixamp (ye the A40's are nowhere near the ADG1X or other good headphones) I would suggest use either a audio extractor but then u can't get higher then 1440p @120hz (though the hdmi 2.1 audio extractors are out now the cheapest one i could find is from Ezcoo around ₮130) I think soon they will make them in smaller more simple models. Im currently using a USB to Optical Dac converter, so the optical from my Mixamp goes in a tiny Box and from there it goes with USB in the back of the PS5 and the USB just goes straight in the back of the PS5, gives me far superior sound quality compared over the USB only sound. I have also a 4K Hdmi 2.1 monitor the Samsung Odyssey G70A, so im waiting till the hdmi 2.1 audio extractors go around the price point of ₮30-50 then I will get one.
  10. @K0NSPIRACY Definitely need to use a Mixamp or another Dac amp for that headset it makes a huge difference in sound, volume, cleariness, soundstage all improve huge with the Mixamp especially with those type of headsets its like a totally different sound what u will hear( like going from a scooter to a motorbike ðŸĪĢðŸĪĢ) I tried a few times mine ATH-ADG1X plugged in my controller sounds so bad, so muffled, I think it doesnt get enough power as well from the controller jack, its a difference of night and day with a Mixamp If u buy the Mixamp I can hook you up with some presets for it dont hesitate to ask me 🙂
  11. @kinelI use from Potara and sometimes I make them together with him because there aren't a lot of people who are using the Audio-technica headsets. Try the Mw/Warzone presets for MW2 they working quiet good (when the game is out and there isnt already a preset out for it) and put it on Linear pcm in (PlayStation settings) and the Surround off (on Mixamp) if u wanna try the PlayStation 3d-audio. Btw this is how I always play with or without PlayStation 3d-audio i dont use the surround sound from the Mixamp. And I think your headset the AKG in combination with the Mixamp u dont need to buy a Steelseries just find a good preset and set your settings good and u will have awesome sound
  12. @kinelI used my mixamp pro tr with the Ad1000x & the ATH-ADG1X from Audio-technica and the sound was very good
  13. Your AKG 702's never get outdated, those are very good headphones it is the advanced settings (preset) for Mixamp in Command center that needs to changed because they made a change to audio in-game
  14. I was playing the MW2 Beta at 4k@120hz on my PS5
  15. Ye the presets I get are also from someone who does them professional, and for a specific headset
  16. @Glynn_A I have enough presets here for A40's a50's gen3/4 and a few other headsets as well (Steelseries,Audio-technica,Philips) dont need to pay for if someone needs a preset let me know.
  17. @bagsta69 ye no problem, hope u have a lot of fun 😆 Lmk how the presets worked out for you.
  18. @bagsta69 INGAME SETTINGS AUDIO MIX BOOST NORMAL MASTER VOLUME 75/100 EFFECTS 100 MUSIC AND VOICE for less distraction off or under 20 Try it with Star mode on, on ur Mixamp (so it's Stereo sound it's better for the footsteps) The CoDWarzone preset u can use it for Vanguard, Black ops Cw as well.
  19. @bagsta69 that's a gen.4 mixamp for which games and which platform u using it ? (Ps, Xbox, Pc)
  20. @bagsta69 send a picture of the Mixamp then i'll know which gen it is
  21. @bagsta69 which Mixamp and which headset u using it and for which games I have quite a few good presets for u folks out here
  22. I am waiting literally almost half a year for the XR700 beta to come ⌛ðŸŠĶ
  23. @Killhippie i am gonna keep it short and simple. I am a customer who bought a router that has been released for 2 years so expect at least support for the coming 2-3 years. I bought a Nighthawk Pro Gaming XR700 in 2018 i didnt buy a R9000 in 2016 or "18 so I expect some support for the product that i bought. And about the TV's, 1 u can't compare a tv with a router and 2 tv's get software and firmware updates even years after release. And I had a ASUS GT-11000AX in summer 2019, that WiFi 6 is not so big as u think, there are not even so much devices that support it, back then my Samsung S10 was the only device i had that have WiFi 6 and in my case i use wired connection for gaming.
  24. @Netduma Fraser i didn't mean it bad or harsh in a way i have no problem with the way u phrased it, just want to get this out in the world so maybe NETGEAR wakes up and think, hey there are people aware that we are lacking on our products support. ASUS RT-AC5300 is released end of 2015 i have mine since begin of 2016, sorry my bad NETGEAR XR700 was released 2018. It stays a expensive product that people have bought and they expect frequent updates especially for routers, lots of bugs, security updates and internet connections changing. Dhcp issues, driver updates, get Routed-IPTV working, load some ISP profiles from different regions like if u are W-EU u get only like from those countries main ISP's.
  25. @Netduma Fraser at first i didnt want to reply on the topic as i know u are always willing to help and do your best for us here at the forum but as i feel like your the one we can speak through to Netduma and Netgear i had to say something. 1st of all i dont know a router which firmware got updated and someone had to pay for it (we already paid when we bought the router). 2nd it is totally ridiculous that a router had 6 updates in it's 2-year life (it is as well one of the high end routers of NETGEAR). I compared the updates for my 2015 ASUS RT-AC5300 vs 2018 NETGEAR XR700 the ASUS had 7 firmware updates in 2020 only (and they are working on 386. firmware currently 384. there is a beta running for 386. as well) while the NETGEAR XR700 had only 6 firmware updates since 2018.
