@Netduma Alex @Netduma Fraser Is it possible to get a dpi update for Valorant on console (Playstation 5) as i tried to use with traffic prio and it is not picking up also on my XR700 it is not picking up the Valorant rule. I saw on my ASUS which ports were being used while I played Valorant so made a custom rule for traffic prio but that also didnt pick up the prio.

If you have a console there is no need to be afraid of using DMZ

Find out where the authentication server for Australia/Asia exactly is on the map, go in Polygon mode and draw a small square around the authentication server then it will populate all the servers around you. I know the one on the far left are the authentication servers in Ireland from Demonware if I were you start first by drawing a square around those (u can draw a whole polygon around Ireland there are no gameservers there the first one that is close are those from London,UK)

Ye its a CoD problem atm

It is working as intended there is no need for something to be added or not. Change your device type to PlayStation first of all to begin with (yes I know u are on a PC) Can you show full screens of all your Geo-filter settings

I have many friends who have this problem since the small update of last week it is a CoD problem atm. They have very high ping like 80-160ms and a few % packet loss while I am having 12ms and 0% packet loss (we from same country, same ISP) also seen this problem with other friends who live in countries next to me (should be 10-30ms difference between us). And the next few games they have perfect ping and no packet loss as it should be.

U see nothing because there are maybe no servers for CoD in that part of the world, try to expand your radius to a much bigger area (like +3000km) and look where the servers populate when u boot up the game and see "connecting to online services" From there "memorize" which area u want to get covered with your radius.

Hi Fraser, Which ports are being used when u choose Call of duty as a rule in HybridVpn ? Could u please ask which specific ports are getting used for that rule (COD) and are they UDP/TCP ?

But I am doing the test while the traffic prio rule is only enabled and the device (PlayStation 5) is not online. While in Connection Benchmark it is working good and CC is applying to the ping under load, when the rule is enabled it doesn't throttle the CC sliders bandwith it is set to But with the rule disabled and deleted the waveform test is throttling the CC sliders bandwidth correctly

Why, I dont understand it 🤔 Used to have always a custom Traffic prio rule and it never interfered with the QoS my bufferbloat was always low when testing it and Traffic prio rule enabled. As for now I have DumaOs classified games enabled and the QoS is working I have an A+ grade bufferbloat score, why isn't it possible with a custom Traffic prio rule as it always have been working before with that rule ? Using this Traffic prio rule (S3074:3074 D30000:45000 udp) for several years and it never interfered with QoS

That's what I am seeing when I had the custom rule in Traffic prio enabled I am suffering from bufferbloat around 80ms+ on download and 150ms+ for upload. When I took out the traffic prio rule my bufferbloat is 0-1ms+ But with DumaOs classified games rule I am not suffering from bufferbloat

It took me a reboot to get my traffic prio rule out gave me various faults in the ui, but now I have A+ bufferbloat score with +1ms for both dl/ul. So when setting up a traffic prio rule QoS is not working when im gaming ? What I am saying is when i set up a traffic prio rule I am suffering from bufferbloat ?

@Netduma Lew @Netduma FraserI have seen today that I have my CC on 50/90% and set to always I get A+scores in connection benchmark on DumaOs, but every bufferbloat test on the Internet is showing my normal speeds and very high bufferbloat. Also the issue with Ping Optimiser on Auto-Setup will it get fixed pls ?

What is the frustration about the upcoming firmware update with everybody 🤷‍♂️ Be glad that you guys have a team that is informing you guys about approximately when the update is coming, other company's won't even discuss when or how long it will take for the next update.

I think if you contact @Netduma Fraser or let him know that you want to test the router after the next update and it is still not working good he can arrange to extend your warranty possibly. I think he will react to this question to help you out very quick🙂

Hi, the R3 is not stable at the moment I would suggest you wait until the next firmware update it may solve a lot of problems that you are experiencing with it right now. I have been in the alpha/beta testing of the R3 the first few firmwares the R3 was performing really good without these issues, but there were some others which had been fixed. Also try to downgrade to the first firmware it came with then factory reset and upgrade the router till the last firmware that is going to come out.

I have always used (see picture) this for all my routers works really good, place it right under the middle even on the lowest setting keeps the router really cold even in the summer. Amazon about 15 € $ £ all the same 😂

Ping Optimiser on Auto-setup has stopped working on the XR700 all of a sudden 🥲 It will start optimizing till test 4-5 then just stop, after cancelling and trying again it will go to test 3 and after that till test 2 and sometimes it will start testing and in about 5-10 seconds it will say best settings found and both on 100% I have changed nothing it was working as always very good, must have been something changed on the back end ? Maybe a DPI update ? Or something else ? I did several reboots, cleared cache, cookies everything, did twice a factory reset, still not working.

It has a functionality I use it for cooling connected to my USB-fan 🙂

I connect to New Zealand thats the most far server i can connect to from my location and it works Japan, Hongkong, Australia are closer. So what I am trying to tell if u set it up good it will connect to any server in the world. Amsterdam Nl to Auckland N-Z distance about 18.000km/11.000miles

Because u had your first week a excellent CoD experience that means u were on top of the leaderboards and doing really good. SBMM (CoD) has decided for you to step up a level with some much better players (with gaming monitors, good headsets, gaming routers, good comms, good aim, good reflexes) so u can take a shower after every gaming session 🤣🤣 Welcome in my world buddy.

Hi @Netduma Alex can you look into 3.3 fw for the XR700 and see if it can get some cloud updates for dpi ? Call of duty series is missing as a rule and in Priority boost
