  1. Test: Yellow RJ45 port of your ISP router to the Blue RJ45 port of the R3! (LAN FAI TO WAN R3)
  2. ----------------- From the pictures I see, you just made a mistake in your wiring! You need to connect the R3 to your ISP modem/router... Modem/router - LAN Modem/router to WAN R3 - LAN R3 to your other devices!
  3. ------------------------------------------- Without taking him to task... it's easier to close the debate this way... I understand him so much!
  4. I just read his post on reddit... he seems to have the same feedback/response that I gave him! 😁
  5. I have no problem personally, as you wish!
  6. WLAN is subject to many constraints compared to LAN! Why compare them?! The differences in speed are related to the network card of your device...And especially on the server on which you performed the test ---WIFI6 is limited to the 5GHz band / WIFI6E can access the 6GHz band----
  7. Smartboost optimizes the speeds needed for a smooth connection on your switched-on devices. You cannot get the maximum speed without disabling it; this is the principle of QoS! Your phone just doesn't need to hog any more bandwidth at the time of testing!
  8. The R3 speed test is performed directly from the WAN... It doesn't take into account the R3's QoS settings, which are linked to the LAN/WLAN! Is the Ookla speed test LAN or WLAN behind the R3?
  9. The R3's internal speed test is live from the WAN, which means you've managed the ping optimizer with very low percentages and always enabled! Can you take a screenshot of your ping optimizer?
  10. Hi! @Netduma Fraser His first video shows R3 network activity going up to 5 Gbps, which isn't possible! ----Is there a loop in his local network?!---
  11. Yes, that's normal! The VPN tunnels your connection to the server/destination you selected. HVPN uses the router's CPU resources, which impacts speeds. This test is no longer valid! ----Devices behind HVPN bypass Smartboost!---
  12. Yes !!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. The R3 offers a PPPoE and VLAN connection. Simply enter this information either via the initial setup or via the WAN settings... PPPoE username/password--- And advanced settings: VLAN 101 or 0!
  14. The best thing for you is to consult your ISP's website and see if they offer a Bypass solution behind an RJ45 WAN router!
  15. Just to be sure, is your line individual or shared between other residents?
  16. Packet loss is mainly related to the game server, especially behind a router /etc. that manages QoS locally. There may be other reasons... but they are mainly attributed to misconfiguration/misunderstanding... For example, changing the MTU. Not to mention third-party software... which is doing the opposite! One thing that intrigues me is the fact that this happens at certain times! Do you experience the same thing directly from your gaming device behind your ISP router?
  17. Hi! These are very good speeds behind PPPoE/Vlan with the R3! Welcome back! VLAN and PPPoE are recurring topics, but the team ND is working on a solution. For now, the best thing to do is let the modem/router manage the PPPoE/VLAN internet access and set the R3 to DHCP. I work like this and I don't have double NAT!
  18. Do you really see a difference by locking the speeds so low? For me, it's counterproductive because with SmartBoost, your in-game latency won't increase despite this test!
  19. I'm the one who moved your topic... So that you have the best personalized assistance regarding your problem !
  22. Hi! What's wrong with the R2?
  23. A static IP allows you to host without having to continually change your settings. Dynamic IPs are generally shared...a port range divided among multiple users! CGNAT
  24. https://surfshark.com/fr/download/windows tu tĂ©lĂ©charges l’application Windows, tu l’installes et tu suits les Ă©tapes 😉
  25. Hybrid VPN n’est pas prĂ©sent sur le XR1000 !
