Have you tried to resync cloud? Or reset router? maybe disconnect power from both modem and router wait a minute or two then connect power to the modem wait until the modem stabilizes back on and then power up the router. Try this and see if everything balances out first before resetting things.

WZ2 Season 2 update affecting Geofilter?
crunkjuice1 replied to MrBig1994's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
DumaOS still firm with original intentions. They can’t control what consumers end up trying to do by trying to use loopholes in software to land in bot lobbies. maybe DumaOS needs a restriction in exactly how far we can move the geographic bubble much like how the size of the bubble is limited in miles. I’m in Texas and it would be pointless to move the geo filter bubble to South America or even across the pond. -
XR1000 Can't Obtain an IP address
crunkjuice1 replied to Raw_'s topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Have you tried asking xfinity? I understand that they can only help you with the modem but they are the ones that you tell to put the xb8 into BRIDGE MODE . the xb8 is a router/ modem combo unit so xfinity customer support can do it for you. This way the xb8 will only function as a modem and leave all the routing to your DumaOS xr1000 or try it yourself https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/internet/answered-how-to-turn-bridge-mode-on-and-off-on-xfinity-modem/602da777c5375f08cdea45c1 -
XR1000 Can't connect to software

Why do you have to constantly have to reset the router in the first place? -
XR1000 Can't connect to software
crunkjuice1 replied to JediK's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Whenever you factory reset through app or even using the reset button on the router if you changed WiFi password to something other than default password it goes back to default password until you type a custom password into the router again -
Have you tried refreshing cloud? And then power cycling the router?

Once past “beta” revisions, will there be more updates for all models in service? Seeing how long it takes for anything to come out moving forward how much longer are you guys planning on supporting all the routers? It seems like 100% perfection is be chased after and that will never happen as once in the world “something “ will always come out of the woodwork. this is just my curiosity because I see how eager everyone is for even crumbs of software and if the gaps in releases are so far between releases I’m sure most of us hate to move forward following the flow of hardware progression in the next few years.

This made my year ☠️ -
IMPRESSIVE! consoles have a lot of catching up to do in the network department! On 1 gig the highest I ever see on a full game download or update is 500 and spurts of 600. Again my household has five consoles and a handful of streaming devices.
-
Is there anything out there entertainment wise that can use that? Streaming services and video games all going at the same time don’t even tickle my Google fiber 1000/1000 connection.

What do you guys think of the Samsung https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/gaming/32-odyssey-neo-g8-4k-uhd-240hz-1ms-curved-gaming-monitor-ls32bg852nnxgo/ or, https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/gaming/32-odyssey-neo-g7-4k-uhd-165hz-1ms-curved-gaming-monitor-ls32bg752nnxgo/ I now have a ps5 as well as an Xbox series. and there are some new OLED monitors coming around from other manufacturers. Mini LED monitors are floating around as well. At this point in the game a monitor is going to be a major investment in my book. https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27gr95qe-b https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-45gr95qe-b

Firmware 3.2 for XR500
crunkjuice1 replied to Stilts29's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Just take into consideration that impatience has ran through everyone that probably doesn’t even post on this board anymore. We have and HAD waited more than one year to get an update. Also from my recollection the last firmware that is not directly linked to download on netgear support page is not official per Netgear standards. Again Netduma got into a twisted relationship with netgear period. The question I find myself at is why isn’t the Netduma R2 or older routers that are not holding hands with netgear already past “beta” firmware’s with “much faster testing techniques ? “ In the end we all have valid degrees of frustration and impatience. Personally my xr500 has been in the closet for going on six months and I have been on my isp provided router. the best advice I can offer is to just bookmark the progress page and take a seat with the rest of us on this bus 🤣 https://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000132677-dumaos-firmware-progress -
Where is the xr1000 firewall? In the xr500 I can change from open to secure can I do this on xr1000 ? the reason behind this is because I spent a 2 hour conversation with a friend of mine that has a xr1000 firmware 1.0.0.64 hes thinking about armor subscription if there are no normal firewall rules settings like the xr500 nat controller from open or secure windows 10 with a third party security suite he is super paranoid because he received a email and a phone call from someone claiming to be from Netgear telling him they know what kind of router he has and that he needs to provide a payment method over the phone in order to protect the xr1000 this is very suspicious because he never signed up for anything or provided personal information to anyone. Please help securing his xr1000.

XR1000 and R2 routers issues with DMZ Beta game type
crunkjuice1 replied to crunkjuice1's topic in Call of Duty Support
Thank you Fraser I’ll keep you posted. -
So me and my friends been playing mw2 across different game types such as matchmaking, warzone 2.0 and DMZ beta. We understand the game needs work on its server side as they are all wonky at the moment. We are in the process of deleting Xbox series X consoles caches to see if it clears up everyone getting hung in game freezing. We all know the game side is messed up but in troubleshooting techniques they say to reboot routers regardless of being DumaOS or stock isp routers. How often do we need to refresh cloud in ping heat map or how often should we reconfigure geo filters? My friends question the point of even using these settings over just running stock isp routers/gateways. It’s obvious something different is running in the background in the server side. Could it be them affecting the connections?

Firmware 3.2 for XR500
crunkjuice1 replied to Stilts29's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
From what I read a few weeks ago it sounded like the xr500 firmware might possibly be the same version/build that gets used in the 700. It will be interesting to see. -
lol I didn’t know that about the display port but it makes sense as to why it doesn’t exist on console.
