  1. Hi All Yesterday I changed ISP and have gone to a PPPoe connection, I didnt initially perform a factory reset and only changed the connection settings to PPPoe and the speeds. The steady ping continued to work fine but since then, I have performed a factory reset and I now have no steady ping on the geo filter page. Is this a bug or do I need to do something different? Thanks in advance.
  2. Thanks for the replies guys! It was as you say, as an offline device so added it to DHCP and now works perfectly. 😀
  3. Hi All, I am having a little trouble with the above set up. I have my ISP hub in modem mode, connected to my R3 and all devices connected to the R3 bar my PS5 which is connected through the S8000 switch to the R3. I am unable to see my PS5 on the device manager or the S8000 itself. Is there anyway I can have both or at least the S8000 picked up by the R3's device manager? The R3 detects my PS5, because it shows up in UpNP. It has given it an IP address and opened the NAT but that is the only place it is visible. Hope that makes sense. Any ideas are welcome. I am new to this type of set up so forgive me if the above is a stupid question. Thanks.
  4. I have a similar experience. However when I do add a higher number in expert, it shows in game that the ping is higher but the graph remains the same. It still plays flawlessly though so I am not to bothered at the moment.
  5. Yeah, seems to be the browser mate. I deleted cache and its working fine now ☺️.
  6. Nice! Thanks for the easy to understand explanation mate. I am using Opera GX. I am going to try Google and see if there is any difference. I think it may be the browser to be honest mate.
  7. Not sure if any of you have noticed, but after a few few games my steady ping seems to stick on the same server and continue to ping that specific one. It is only when I close the browser and re open it that it shows the current one I am on. Any one else? Edit: Sorry off topic.
  8. I am glad this has been asked as I came on here tonight specifically to ask this in the forum. I'll follow this thread and hopefully Fraser can give the answer soon.
  9. I can second the amount of game time not tallying up. When I load up MW3 whilst watching smart boost, I get a lot of activity under 'unknown' and a very small amount under 'Call of duty series'. This happens every time I open the game and can confirm nothing else is being used at the time. I am guessing the 'unknown' must be the initial test MW3 does whilst connecting to the matchmaking server.
  10. Absolute legend for this! I finally got Open NAT across multiple and all platforms! Legend!
  11. I disabled Ipv6 on both WaN and LaN and can confirm UPNP works perfectly!
  12. I agree with nowmat, I have the same but on the West Coast of the US and I am in the UK.
