Taff Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 i essentially turned off the built in equalizer to get the right sound i wanted ,i could not hear the footsteps because of all the guns and aerial bombs going off ,it was a simple solution for me ,i use awareness and dead silence to enhance the footsteps and the guns are a lot more quieter. it's not for everybody just thought it may help those with sensitive hearing like mine. i also use studio speakers which have full sound and if you dont use headphones this is excellent for that also.

Nice work, that software only works with the TR version? I have an older mixamp still being used on my 360.

Taff Posted December 12, 2015 Author Posted December 12, 2015 the newer mix amps have "pc mode" you press the power button and the red ring turns white which the older gen 2 models dont have, i tried my own to see but no matter what i did it wouldn't work. the newer ones apparently were built completely different from the ground up.

I wish I could even afford a pair of A50's, would be cool to check out the stream too, you can't beat real-time gameplay

I tried your setup and had real improvement. Previously it was hard to tell where the footsteps were coming from, now there is true directional sound. This was a big help for us audio challenged! DB

Buckeye Purple Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 i tried these settings tonight, i honestly thought it sounded terrible, different strokes for different folks i suppose. cannot thank you enough for posting those settings though. i'm going to stick with the ones i got of the astro forums that wildcat also uses. i felt you sacrifice too much of the good stuff that makes the headphones stand out with the one you prefer rowlodge.
