Anyone use kontrolfreek sticks?

Was researching the scuf controller when I read about these, it's a lot cheaper investment. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with these. The rubber on my ps4 sticks is starting to go so I either needed new sticks, grips or comtroller

yep i have them too, i have the black ops 3 edition for ps4 the ones with the skulls on! they are bloody amazing in all honesty and wouldn't play without them now.

I play with the extended one on the left and shorter one on the right, conventionally i think its meant to be the other way round but for me its how they feel comfortable.

I would recommend

I've got the vortex ones too for my PS4 controller as the rubber on my sticks started to wear away so got them for protection more than anything. Take a little getting use to but are great when you do.

1 note though, on mine which I got in April of 2014, the rubber topper came away from the plastic base as whatever was sticking them together had wore away. This was only on the shorter kontrolfreak and it has happened to a friend too. Had to get a replacement from where I got them.

I have kontrolfreeks (CQCX on left stick and Snipr on the right) on my stock controller, but I upgraded to a scuf controller (domed regular length on left and domed long length on right)

The kontrolfreeks are way better than stock, though I found the CQCX can get a little slippery at times, the Snipr is solid and very comfortable.

The sticks on a scuf controller are way way better than stock and better than the kontrolfreeks in my opinion, far more comfortable and have a better grip. With the scuf you are getting more than just sticks; so if you have the money to burn get the scuf (opt for the Electro Magnetic Remapping and the Pro paddles not the FPS ones), if money is more of a concern then kontrolfreeks are good, order them from the kontrolfreeks website and if you spend over $25 the postage is free. I ordered my CQCX and Snipr direct, it cost just £1 more to get both sets than it would buying just the Snipr in the UK!

I have used Kontrol Freeks for many years.  I have the CQCX and Snipr ones.  The tops parts of the CQCX have come off; however, contact cement works great. Don't use super glue.  I like the taller Snipr but prefer the actual top of the CQCX.

Yep, use the CQCX on all my controllers, won't play without them.. If you're current sticks are worn down to much, the Freeks due have a tendancy to pop off though.. I put new sticks in all my controllers and don't have that issue... BattleBeaverCustoms have good prices on new sticks, they also offer a little taller domed stick too..

Are these actually new sticks?  Like take the controller apart and swap them out?  I have purchased some Kontrol Freak covers, that go on top of the stock stick, and I wasn't impressed.  They were okay, but nothing that made my game any different.

I order up a bag of these from Amazon.  They are cheap, they are pretty tacky for your thumb and they last 3 to 6 weeks or so, depending on how much I grind the game.  As I was off from the 2nd thru the 22nd of November, I went through one pair, so there is your durability test.
