feelthefearr
Hello I have a question. I play black ops 3 If I play alone with the geo filter on everything works perfectly!! When I'm with friends, I cant play with the geo filter on because we cant find games? If I turn it off and play with my friends I connect to a USA host with a ping of 120/300 I live in the Netherlands and my friends too! Thanks

Dillinger
Hi feelthefearr - I'm not sure if you meant that Drift0r sent you here, or if you thought he would answer you here.... ?? I went ahead and edited his name as it's in the tags and perfectly searchable by any of the crawlers. I don't know what system you, or Ian88, are on, and "playing with friends" is a little vague, so let me walk you through what I did earlier when I was playing with another member here and see if that helps. If not, please post some more specifics in your response so the next one through can tailor their response. I set up the duma for playing (set my sliders and put my 'home' over the dedicated server bank that I wanted to play with 'STRICT' enabled) BEFORE turning on my system. Turned on PS4 and sent out invite to party member. When party member joined, I white listed their home. This is done by giving their home circle a very high rating. Then jumped into match making and waited for the dedicated server bank to populate to confirm, As he has a Duma as well, his 'STRICT' mode was UNTICKED as I was party leader, he was able to confirm the same dedicated bank he normally plays. *I camped his dedicated bank because mine is shit. A couple of times we got separated, but just hit the home lobby in game, sent another in game invite and we were back. At one point I even moved my home and 'STRICT' setting to another bank entirely and we were able to hold that one for multiple games as well. Hope that helps, but if not, please post some specifics (System/console you are on, version of Duma software you are running, your home province/state or county, friends province/state or country, where your 'home' location is set, desired location you want to be playing, location you are playing, etc.)

Thanks Hey feelthefearr, This happens to lots of Black Ops 3 players I'm afraid, its not the Netduma, the fault is with the game. Activision already know & are trying to fix it (so they say) but I wouldn't hold my breath, they also said they were fixing every other previous title. feelthefearr
Thanks for your answer. I live in the Netherlands i play black ops 3 on the PS4 and i have an open NAT 120mb down and 80mb up My friends are also living in the netherlands but they have an moderate NAT is that the problem? Here Are some pictures of my settings:
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 17, 2015 Administrators Share Posted November 17, 2015 Someone with an open NAT can connect to moderate NAT players so that won't be the issue. It looks as though you haven't added to the allow list, I would zoom out just incase they are incorrectly located and add them

infernomachine
this is just not a european issue its a US thing as well. Plays great solo but cannot find a game even if one person joins. Is this something that is going to be worked out in the update. As it is I have to keep bleeding edge and cloud disabled. I dont remember netduma having these issues with AW on launch. I dont even know where a dedi is anymore as every host I get has the option to update. The game itself has issues sure but It's definitely not the game because I find games in party with no issue when duma is off....hope it gets fixed soon because this thing wrecks playing solo(just not much fun)
JConnor
Yeah, to play in a party, I just disable the Geofilter and don't even use the Netduma per say. The reason, for me is I have one friend in Kansas, one in Seattle and I am near NY. So, we literally cover the entire U.S. I have no idea where we play on because like I said, I can't use the Geofilter or nobody can join a lobby, nor find games. It's not that bad since max ping is usually 60ms. My guess is it's the Seattle server given that is a major MM server versus KC that is a primary player server, I'm guessing? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 20, 2015 Administrators Share Posted November 20, 2015 Have you added them all to your allow list?
infernomachine
Yes they are all added. If they were not they wouldn't be able to join the party. As I know in the past if I sent an invite they couodnt join because I hadn't added them to allow list....any recommendation other than turn filter off? Now i think its spm as potential part of the issue because in the leader board at the start of a match look at your spm it will be a different colour then the rest of the numbers. Never used to be like that. It will be fixed soon, Von is/was at a dinner party so it will get done in time i guess.
