Am I doing something wrong? (BO3 connection)

No matter what settings I use on the Duma on BO3, I always get 100+ ping.

How are you guys coping with BO3 and finding the sweet spot on the Duma?

Anyone have any settings they'd be willing to share?

I've just been doing bleeding edge cloud on, strict mode on, one snap on GeoFilter, 30ms PA and congestion control on 70/70. How far away is the host that you're connecting to? I usually get one in the UK/Ireland and sometime France.

Those are the settings I've used so far with no luck - apart from the 'one snap' on the GeoFilter... I've not a clue what that is!

Servers are usually on the eastern part of France and I've not yet seen a UK server.

disable it, i am getting put in 12ms ping games all the time..I play hardcore tho, normal is unplayable

the duma says the host is USA but am sure its a uk server..

One snap means making the GeoFilter as small as possible then pressing the snap button once :)

Geo as shown and 70% each way on CC.

It has been playing so good lately.

What are your duma net diags telling you?

im having exactly the same problems, all my settings on the duma are how they should be and im connecting to hosts close to me but the connection is absolutely awful, im constantly getting a pin of 50/60ms had a few games when its been on 40 but its still not that grate, since BO3 has come out iv had one game with a ping under 30ms and it was awesome, hit detection was spot on, wasn't dying around corners but iv never had a game like that again and not sure why! :(

You could try putting your home in the see and just using ping assist to filter for a host under 30ms but that could take a while to find a game :)

Could you provide the ID of that server in http://forum.netduma.com/topic/1723-cloud-incorrect-locations/page-8?do=findComment&comment=67012please

I soldiered on last night with some of the recommended settings suggested and some games clocked at 25ms ping and others jumped up to 100+ms.

I was having a much more stable connection than usual, but it is still not as crispy as my AW connection.

At the moment, I'm going to put this down to hosting and keep an eye on my Duma/setting over the next week.

Duma diags are fine so the problem is definitely not at my end.

@Crossy iv tried just using ping assist to get me into games and it doesn't work, it says searching for games 0 of 50 and then it puts me in a lobby by myself, iv waited in the lobby multiple times for well over 10mins plus and no one joins :(

@Crossy This is what the Geo-filter looks like when i try and join a game with just ping assist

Have you tried turning strict mode off?

Try expanding your GeoFilter to just include the first few of those triangles and maybe put your ping assist to about 50ms :)
