WoozyIsLive Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Hello everyone, First of all we should all congratulate each other for buying the NetdumaR1. However, I need help with it. I can hook up the Netduma fine and the internet shows and I am able to use the internet fine but I am unable to get my devices to show. I try with my PS3 and laptop but even the network monitoring doesn't pick up anything. Noted I'm connecting everything wireless so how can I fix this? Do you I just need to connect it with a wire or no? Also this may seem like a easy question but I'm just getting started in learning computer specs and stuff. Thanks again for reading
kevo Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 what web browser are you using. you need to use google chrome and try refreshing your page and see if that helps
kevo Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 if you are using the geo filter over wifi it really doesnt work
WoozyIsLive Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 I'm using internet explorer and im guessing wifi is a no?
PharmDawgg Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 The Netduma interface works best with Chrome or Firefox. Even Safari works ok. But there as issues with I.E. like Kevo said.
WoozyIsLive Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 Ok I'll try that and see how it works
WoozyIsLive Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 Turns out that is the problem lol thanks kevo and buck. I owe you one lol
lukasz Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Welcome to the duma army buddy. I would really take that Kevos sugestion about gaming on wired connection. All the other stuff can go wireless but gaming I would strongly advise to go wire.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 21, 2015 Administrators Posted October 21, 2015 Great to see its been resolved! Make sure to follow http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=fine_tune_netdumato get set up optimally. It does work wirelessly but would recommend playing via ethernet
fuzzy clam Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Just to stress what the others said if at all possible always game on a wired connection as it's much more stable than wireless. Enjoy your new toy...
