They need to separate the POS connections from the good ones. As it stands i won't buy this game if it goes to shit on weekends, its the time I've got most to spare gaming on cod. If you have had issues with previous titles you will with BO3.Von can dribble crap all he likes, public lobbies will be crap.I had seen a tweet by Von, match making servers are fine what are you all on about, x amount of time passes then treyarch tweeted, working on the match making fix, bare with us.Like many i have deleted the beta and wont be buying the game. Should I assume David Vonderhaar hates me yet? lol Sounds like my only good game, yet the in game stats suggest the global k/d in the beta is 1.07 and mine was 1.12 or similar yet i had 3 (just) positive game out of about 100. If i had to guess i would say my beta kd was 0.05. Buckeye Purple Posted August 23, 2015 Share Posted August 23, 2015 Instead of me walking away from this beta convinced this would be a great acquisition come november, my mind has done a u-turn, Just deleted beta I've had enough. i'm bored shitless with the maps they have provided already, tired of the lag which btw imo will be the exact same upon full release. Pre beta Ive never been so excited for a cod before, now i'm feeling so much apathy towards this one. Delighted they done the beta now cause straight up i would have bought this without hesitation. Maybe the series has me jaded with all this future gimmick, the time was right for me to go back old skool cod i'm more convinced than ever about this. i would rather play advance warfare than this as it stands.....wow. Here are some videos (one posted elsewhere already) You'll see sometimes the guns seem to "auto aim" (snap) on the enemy (whether or not me as killer or victim), you'll see lag, the awful futuristic stuff (wall running, jet back jumping/thrust running), some of the maps, some set up bits, some kill streaks and lots of me dying. There might be anything left to show come November, but apparently they are getting a lot of requests to increase the cap from somewhere.... For me gaming is a social thing, cant even team up and get any games together for 3 days now. They got their work cut out to fix this for sale time and may need to do a charlie to convince the many people like myself who have had a bad experience not to cancel pre order. None of the people on my friends list have had a good experience with the beta after the first 2 days. shame really because it was fun on those first 2 days. I can see how this game can be good, but 2-3mths out and this is the beta to be honest im a little disgusted. I played lots and i tried to like it but what ever they did with match making/coding and the miserable lag crippled any chance of me liking it, buying it or even keeping the beta. Dillinger Posted August 23, 2015 Share Posted August 23, 2015 I would just like to point out that this was a Beta, and probably was hosting a player count much larger than expected due to all the people that changed over for the exclusivity bonus. We don't know that the game netcoding is bad until we know it's bad on the Xb1 as well. It very well could be the Sony servers that are a problem. Some posts have said their P2P games played well, others didn't say whether they were P2P or Dedi. bagsta69 Posted August 23, 2015 Share Posted August 23, 2015 Ill buy it, I always do but to be not able to game with your buddies after the first 2 days is a bit pants, maybe the spawn trapping by people in parties which I experienced on maybe 70% of games was to blame. ltr7 Posted August 24, 2015 Share Posted August 24, 2015 I gave it the full four day trial, hit every max level as they were increased as to check out all the weapons and perks. After almost having a seizure from all the rubber-banding around the maps on all six of the dedis they're using in the states I called it quits before maxing out at 49. There is a LONG list of things that are what I would consider broken in this game and I doubt they address most of them before launch. The first and most important is consistency on in game timing, not LAG but in game timing it's just plain broken. It was bad in AW on dedis but at least p2p was playable, BO3 has nothing consistent about it, bullet reg is awful, spawns are terrible, new superpowers are total garbage, quick scopers can be off target by three feet and still kill you, thermal scope has a wide screen bigger than my TV, the wanna be thruster pack is like a limp d*ck exosuit that will kill you if you land to hard, maps are nothing to be impressed with feels like I get shot in the back more than AW if that's even possible way to many flank routs, I could go on and on. But really my biggest gripe is lack of consistent quality with the in game timing-connection, you just never know if it's going to be an 45-2 game or 2-45 game against the same thumb-less newbs on the same crappy servers. Personally I'll take AW on p2p servers all day over this junk even with the crappy DLC weapons that they're trying to ruin the game with. This is just my opinion take it or leave it, if I don't cancel the preorder it will be just so can play zombies with friends... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
