bull3tforc3 Posted April 28 Posted April 28 For a while now, whenever I try to login into my R3 router is tends to load for quite a fair bit and gives the following error: going through recovery and rebooting doesnt seem to fix it. If I choose to continue anyway it gives the following error message in the interface: Network seems to be working fine but most router features like ping heatmap, geo-filter etc dont seem to be working at all, heatmap wont show any servers or games and geo filters just see all my devices as "offline". Does anyone know anything else I can try before hard resetting the router? Cheers!

rukizzel Posted June 2 Posted June 2 Same issue here. Actually, I have been having this since I bought the router, launch day practically. Always just hard booted the thing. Am I in the same boat as others or is this just potentially faulty hardware?

jorgelcd Posted Monday at 12:35 PM Posted Monday at 12:35 PM (edited) Hello, I have a Netduma R2 with update 4.0.258. Yesterday I did a factory reset, and when it started up, it began having this problem of not loading the menus. I can't open anything, not even the part to apply a new update. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? logs (1).txt Edited Monday at 11:46 PM by jorgelcd adding log file

jorgelcd Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Good evening. I did what you asked, but unfortunately it didn't solve the problem; it persists. It's intermittent; suddenly the lights go out and it loses connection to Netdumas. I don't know what else to do. A video is attached for a better understanding of what's happening. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted 7 hours ago Administrators Posted 7 hours ago Don't have the interface open while it's in the reboot process and definitely don't ping it constantly, it should be doing nothing but loading back up and then after that 4 minutes you can try to access, otherwise you risk interrupting the process and causing the issue you're seeing. How did you do the factory reset initially? It may be worth if it continues to delete the upgrade file from your PC, re-download it from the forum then re-upgrade to it, close the interface, wait 5 minutes, then factory reset, close the interface, wait 5 minutes and then access again.
jorgelcd Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Good morning. I did it the way you said. I turned on the device and waited 4 minutes to try to access it. But the equipment is intermittent, like it's restarting. How am I going to update it if I can't access the settings that give me the option to update or do a factory reset? Everything indicates that a recovery needs to be done. Is it possible to do this on Netdumas?
DARKNESS Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago @jorgelcdYou can do a factory reset by holding the pin in the back for 30 seconds, common for any router. The good thing is you’re getting a response. You can alternatively enter the following URL and then factory reset as demonstrated: http://192.168.77.1/dumaweb#!/support. https://jam.dev/c/ea09f152-9f6f-444a-a9d0-51a275c1e56b
