In the meantime you can adjust Congestion Control manually to achieve the same effect which can be found in Ping Optimizer > Advanced. I did it @Netduma Fraser thank you 👍 Netduma Fraser 1
euphidra Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago @Netduma Fraser @Netduma Alex Hi Fraser and Alex, when I connect the TIM modem to the Netduma R3 via PPPOE, the 5GHz WiFi doesn't lose any quality on the TV, but then it returns to normal. However, if I connect the R3 via DHCP, this problem occurs with the 5GHz WiFi. I keep the bands separate. I have the official firmware 4.0.540. I'm cascading the modem again via PPPOE on the Netduma R3. I have a Fritzbox 7590 TIM Edition modem with the official FRITZOS 8.20.

Make sure you're using 80Mhz width for 5GHz not the higher value and see if it improves then euphidra 1

It doesn't make any sense as they're just methods by which the router connect to the internet/your modem so it shouldn't affect WiFi at all. What do you mean by loses quality?
