I never asked for an ETA … I asked if we are any closer to the firmware being released😂

You most definitely asked when it’s coming out. THATS A ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL

1 year from now or possibly longer. Estimate based on the R2 which was promised an update a year ago. Still waiting lol. Dumaos firmware updates are the longest in the history of routers. Even the Netgear routers on Dumaos updates. Just hope that your partiular issue will be fixed.

In another post a few weeks ago, yes. In this post ... I think you need to open your eyes and read again.

That's unfortunate, guess I may as well go out and get another router. Can't even use the 30 day refund policy anymore from holding out with hope on the company... my mistake.

Who else is checking the forum daily to see if there is a firmware update 😆

At least once a day, though in fairness I do check to see if there is anything else going on in the forum, you never know. Sometimes there is the odd gem.

I check once a week since Im on my Asus Router using OpenWRT to get zero buffer bloat and good QoS without Wifi drops and GUI/router crashes.

Im just annoyed I paid 200 bucks for the R3 and it sits in the box.  Im just waiting for a working FW to see if it beats ASUS Performance.  If not hoping I can sell it for 150 on Ebay to recoup the loss so I can pickup one of the next gen ASUS routers since we've been on "soon" for 6 weeks.

This thing launched in December and we're on track for the next FW in April.  Launch shouldve been delayed or the testers should be fired because it took no time to identify issues, like what were they even doing?

I feel like I got scammed by LowPingKing on youtube.

I think it’s built from Openwrt. When I click on network on my PC it says netduma is a openwrt router

I’m not going to lie after watching his videos he made the router sound game changing. I definitely bought after that. But once I received it I had mixed emotions.

Yeah I watched those LowPingKing videos on youtube which made out like everything was running like clockwork and I ordered. I feel the same, the release should have been delayed as pretty much everyone has the same issues. Feels a bit like I paid full price to become the beta tester. I'm just hoping the next firmware is released soon and the basic functions of the router are working at least.

Yeah I think I’m just going to end up getting another router and just putting my gaming platforms behind the R3 as opposed to my entire network being behind the R3.

New firmware now scheduled to release 2025... all bugs still present...In 2025 ..Netduma R5 launches with the exact same issues and has no schedule for its bugs to also be fixed.

Just curious, what issues are being worked on? I've been on v4.0.40 and haven't noticed any issues. 🤷‍♂️

I honestly wish they would release that one as the stable because .41 imo has way worse Wi-Fi and overall performance when it comes to geo-filter, smartboost.
