Hello everyone, when will this famous update this beta version ?

I've been here since the first hour r1 xr500 and now r3 except that I just bought a new router in beta version at over 223euros that annoys me.

Upnp works 1/5, no hybrid VPN, the maximum speeds are pitiful and irregular, an increase or even a fluctuation in ping which is the complete opposite of buying a gaming router, a processor core which goes up to 100% without any activities or reason and one that remains at 0%!!

In short, netduma, what are you planning to do? The router is more than 1 month old and the features and performance that made us buy this router are not present or functional.

We're talking about the features that are in the product description!!! What are the solutions ?!

As has been stated many times in the forum posts we are waiting for a firmware update which should address most of the issues you mention. Expected by end of the week or early next week latest. Netduma are currently testing to make sure its good to go before releasing. The router is functioning as of 0.23 but there are issues that need to be fixed which they are aware of. I guess we just wait and have faith the guys have this in hand.

I'm just glad I'm not relying on Netgear to resolve the issues. We'd be talking months or maybe years to get fixes.

The router is not functioning as of 0.23.... There all the problem that Nalsano_ is talking about and mine keeps disconnecting my whole house at ramdom.... The R3 is a hot mess right now.....

What is your internet setup? i.e. ISP modem, R3, pc, consoles etc?

Well for me it is then. Sorry you have been having these issues. I'm sure they will be fixed soon.

It his router isn’t functioning it’s highly unlikely the firmware is going to fix his issues anyway 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

We don't know whether its hardware or firmware at the moment do we? Probably best to try firmware first and then if its still not fixed address the hardware.

I'm getting CPU spike for example and I'm waiting for the fix for that.

By the looks of the amount of posts about various issues where it's a "Known issue" just proves this router was released 6 months too early. We are already over a month since we got our routers and basic functions such as not being able to get 1gig speeds is not working.

I used to think Netduma were great but now im telling friends and people online to avoid for now. We are essentially beta tester for the company with new problems being found on a weekly basis.

We shouldnt being needing to be relying on being sent "BETA" updates as the product has been released for public sale. New functions we should be expecting, not bug fixes.

This product is simply not fit for it's purpose in it's current state.

I'd likely screw all kinds of poopy up if I made my own router, I am thankful to have a good company working on it.

You have low expectations my friend. The product was released to early. Pure and simple.

I have realistic expectations as I read that it was pre-release. Sometimes acceptance gets confused with ignorance. I knew what I was getting into.

"Pre-Release" is just a pre-order. Pre-release does not mean they are sending you a half completed product.

Okay if you say so. I read It differently. Pre-release means just that... not done yet.

Good now you get it it was a pre-release. Glad you found a dictionary. Now temper your expectations and buck up.

I see you lack a basic understanding of the English language but also lack a basic understanding of literature.

It literally says "relating to a period prior to an OFFICIAL release"

I see you the basic understanding of buck up. This is the way the world works. If you want a complete router buy a tp link or a whatever you so desire. Net Duma is a small company doing their best, cut them some slack. We just had the holidays, etc. I want what I want when I want it, or I just wanna cry about it is all I hear from you.... So again. Suck it up buttercup.

Alright guys this topic is getting a little heated so I'm going to close it. A new update is being compiled currently, it'll get tested a little bit more, if everything looks okay I'll allow people to try it out tomorrow.
