I recently installed my Netduma R3 and I have moderate NAT and YouTube videos and shorts are very slow. I've already disabled everything on the router and it's still very bad.

If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. You should get an Open NAT then.

My router is already configured as a bridge. On my old router I have NAT open, but on R3 still moderate

Do you have UPnP enabled on the R3? You may need to use Port Forwarding on the R3.

Also the Geo-Filter could be blocking the reading, disable it then launch the game and check what it says. If it says open you can re-enable and ignore it when it says moderate in future.

Possibly yes but you'd need to do the DMZ method I mentioned above

Do you have an adblocker on your browser such as Ad Block or uBlock. This has been talked about a lot on Reddit about YouTube slowing down the browsing when it detects an adbkocker

You do NOT want your PC in the DMZ.. What Fraser was referring to was the R3 should be put into the DMZ of your modem/router.. Not your PC..

Take your PC out of the DMZ and Fraser can help you more tomorrow..

Thanks!

My bad, my router is in DMZ. As soon you make it, DumaOS warns you about the risk

The router has its own built in firewall so it's perfectly safe. It would only be a security risk if you then put your PC in the DMZ on the R3 for example.

I have a Fritzbox in germany.
the r3 have the port 1 on fritzbox with Exposed Host .

Fritzbox have upnp and the r3 have upnp
no other port forwarding.

What I did is, on DumaOS selected the DMZ and then added my pc there, is the correct way to do it or is there other way?

No, that's is the security risk I mentioned not to do. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 WAN page and enter it into the DMZ on your ISP modem/router

My modem won't let me put it in DMZ mode when it's in bridge mode.

You'll need to use port forwarding on the R3 then for your PC and you should then be able to get an Open NAT
