Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 6, 2023 Administrators Share Posted April 6, 2023 Can you provide a screenshot of your QoS page showing the settings you usually use when it is enabled?
David824
are you saying you are killing enemies very fast with you QOS off or on?? Also, what game are you playing? on COD I actually have better games with my QOS off but thats because my speeds are high. I have fiber and if I turn my QOS off I get better bufferbloats because I'm getting full speeds which is making my ping lower...if I turn QOS on I get way lower speed readings and a lower bufferbloat score....which to be honest I dont even trust bufferbloat readings anymore. But, try inputting your max speeds for DL 150 and UL 50. Leave the congestion control at 100% but leave it as "ALWAYS". Basically, try to get your max speeds while also being able to utilize traffic prioritization.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 7, 2023 Administrators Share Posted April 7, 2023 You definitely need to be utilizing Upload on Congestion Control, start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values. I try different value gave me same results , maybe the best for me Qos off ! Because non use internet with me so 100 m for me alone ??
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 7, 2023 Administrators Share Posted April 7, 2023 It's possible Traffic Prioritization is affecting the results, if it's just you and you were using QoS then bufferbloat wouldn't be affecting you anyway. If QoS off works best then go with that!
Harley
Buffer bloat doesn't work on the XR1000 if you have a pppoe connection. This is the result for me with the XR1000... And this is the result for me with the XR700......

Also, it doesn't look like you have that much of a problem with bufferbloat anyway, so I would wait for the fix.
