Loe
I've read through the forums and saw that occasionaly people have to allow the peer that discord shows up as in order to connect. I have to do this every single time I join a server or change voice channels tho. Is there a workaround for this? Been manually adding peers for the last couple days and am at close to 20. Not sure if it ends eventually or if this is going to be an ongoing issue when I have the geo filter turned on.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 31, 2022 Administrators Share Posted May 31, 2022 Hey, welcome to the forum! Could you provide the IDs you have allowed? We can then put them in the whitelist and you won't need to allow them again
Loe
I'm not positive which are which. I have some peers added from my friend list as well. Also am I going to just need to continue allowing every time I access a voice channel? Seems the IDs are different every time.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 31, 2022 Administrators Share Posted May 31, 2022 Okay thank you, we'll work our way through and double check them. A lot of the IDs are similar so we will whitelist an IP range which should prevent you needing to allow any in the future but for the moment you may still need to allow. Loe
Ok thanks. ETC on that? Also, forgot to mention. Idk if its related or not but I can't stream in discord with the filter on either.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 31, 2022 Administrators Share Posted May 31, 2022 We'll try and do that for tomorrow. Yeah that's probably because the ports are blocked by the Geo-Filter, you'll probably need to allow servers for those as well, if you can provide them as well we can get them added
Loe
Ah. Yeah it was. It came up in the same location tho and same range looks like. e61f6e39bc85c7cc I'll just wait for you guys to add the range to the whitelist and try again in a couple days. Appreciate the quick replies! e61f6e39bc85c7cc Netduma Fraser
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 2, 2022 Administrators Share Posted June 2, 2022 Thank you again for the IDs, we have checked what you have provided and added these to our whitelist. A lot of these were in the same subnet so for example 10.10.10.x and so we whitelisted the whole range which should mean you don't need to allow any now. If there are any you need to allow please do let us know the IDs and we'll get them added. If you could copy and paste them next time that would be much appreciated! Let us know how you get on! Loe
I am not having to allow as often as the last few days but it is still occurring. Seems to happen more often when trying to stream/view streams. Occasionaly when trying to connect to voice chats. These are the additional IDs I have added so far. Seem to be similar still. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 3, 2022 Administrators Share Posted June 3, 2022 Okay thank you, we'll take a look and get them added early next week. If you could copy and paste them from now on please that would save a lot of time.

Administrators Netduma Alex Posted June 9, 2022 Administrators Share Posted June 9, 2022 Hi @Loe, Over the last few days, I've been making improvements to Geo-Filter's Discord compatibility. I've been whitelisting IP ranges all over the world, and I've published a cloud update which, in my testing, allows Discord to work 99% of the time. It's possible however that I've missed some servers, so I will take a look at your list above and incorporate any that I missed into the master whitelist. Thanks very much for your help with this issue. The cloud update should be automatically applied to your router, but it can be manually downloaded using the RESYNC CLOUD button on Geo-Filter. You have to then restart the unit for the new whitelist to take effect. zman1156

Always turned me off when i had discord and geo on but this is great! thank you!

Loe
Ok I will try it out and lyk if any additional issues. Thanks. Also since those IPs are whitelisted I should be able to remove them from my personal list, if I wanted to, and still connect correct?
