I just bought a xr500

I read in these forums a few years ago that  the xr500  could  show the ports  cod games use

It  was a long time ago  so i might be a bit confused  here with these names

I think  either ghost  or zippy or east  mentioned it  in a thread   but i  aint sure

All i remeber is that sombody said they could see the ports the gam was using  on the geo filter  map  or in  upnp  but im pretty sure they said you can see it on geo filter

Sorry if it sounds confusing

If any body could tell me how i  see the ports

Or how you could see the ports in the past on older fw  it would help

Thanks

As i remember asking them about it

But it was many years ago im im 95% sure they said it was on the xr500

Cheers for ghe reply fraser

I think it might have to read  all my old posts when i get time too

Hey Kinel,  I can confirm that when using the XR500 it would log the connections in the system log.. But it would only log active connections when using port triggering.. Or when putting the Xbox in the DMZ feature of the XR500.. I dont think UPNP logged anything.. I might have a screenshot yet on my computer that shows what I mean. Let me see if I can find it.. Im not sure though that it will show that anymore on the latest firmware.. Alot has changed on the XR500.. Having an active connection log I always found handy!

Thanks!

Zippy.
