Geofilter not working?

Unfinished

Recommended Posts

I am playing Apex and have set my Geofilter to around 1000Km. The allowed server that is showing, is in the US and several thousand Km away. The gaming experience is awful.

Does the Geofiltered device need to be reset every time a different game is selected, as it was initially set for warzone?

ID: 4a17935eb4e95f64 Central US, ping fluctuating between 20 and 40ms, but this seems way too low for a server in the US all the way from the UK.

Notice that when I'm playing Warzone, the server that I presume I'm on is shown within the filter radius. With Apex, there is no server show, except the allowed server in the US.

Same here. I am playing Overwatch with the Netduma R2, but my Geo-Filter doesn't ping and show anything. No servers, nothing.

Could you please start a new topic for your issue so we can look into it with you?

I have the same issue when using Geo-Filter, something shows up for 30 seconds then never comes back up.

Is this a bug ? this is on the XR1000 for Fifa and COD ( Console ).

Is this when you boot the game or when you are actively in-game? I'd also suggest starting a new topic for your issue.

This is similar to the issue the person above is having, Geo-Filter isn't showing the stuff it should be showing.

Can I ask why you asked if this is actively in game or when we boot? will the Geo-filter not populate while we are in a game?

I believe the issue we are all facing is Geo-Filter is not populating the screen with the data it should.

How does it appear like it was allowed, just normally, whitelisted/allowed or ping assisted? If it wasn't enabled before the game was booted up then that could explain why it was allowed

It might be an authentication server, but for Apex, it is the only server shown whilst in game. The local servers flash briefly when starting the game, but they then disappear, never to be seen again. The only remaining server is the white circled one over the pond.

If I'm playing Warzone, I see a similar sever in the US and another within my geofilter radius, but that is what I would expect to see. It just appears to be Apex, but without being able to ping the server that I appear to be on, I don't know where I am actually located and so the Geofilter operation is in question.

Most game clients will ping all servers they know of when the client is launched, so you'd want to make sure your filter and any changes you make are applied prior to this.
