Jacques
I had to downgrade my R1 router back to original, cuz I'm sick of rebbot every 2nd day my device (both 2.1.329 FW and 3.0.207 FW). I dont know why slows my speed down to 10%. Maybe a QoS problem, I dont know. OK, I can live with this old firmware... but I cant see dedicated server icon, only circles. I know the biggest one is the host, but is it a possible a dedicated server? I play currently with CoD WWII, not Vanguard. I looked for 1.3 firmware but I didnt find it in the forum and I dont have a backup.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 9, 2021 Administrators Share Posted September 9, 2021 What are your expected/paid for speeds? - That's DumaOS the speed slows down? On the original firmware it does not distinguish between peers and dedicated servers, though as you're playing CoD they will be dedicated servers. I would not suggest downgrading that far if you find it as you could brick the router.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 10, 2021 Administrators Share Posted September 10, 2021 Is this through WiFi and ethernet? Are you using PPPoE or anything like that?
Jacques
Ethernet. And no matter what firmware I use... its broken again: https://www.speedtest.net/result/12022709293 I will reisntall the latest firmware. I dont know what PPPoE is, so I think I'm not useing it. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 12, 2021 Administrators Share Posted September 12, 2021 What are your current QoS settings at the time of these slower speeds, can you provide a screenshot please?
Jacques
I reupdated the 3.0.207 FW last night, and made an auto-setup. Its look like this. This values were the same before I downgraded. Dont bother with it. Just please in the next build write an R-App which reboot automatically the device at a time I set. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 13, 2021 Administrators Share Posted September 13, 2021 Disable QoS completely from the Congestion Control  menu and see whether it stays more consistent

Jacques
I wanted to play some, but Rapps cant load, neither in Chrome or Firefox. QoS, Geo-Filter menu also doesnt load. I have to rebbot, but I run a speedtest before. The results: https://www.speedtest.net/result/12040572105 Today I watched some youtube and surf on the net (social apps on the phone like FB or Instagram.) I dont know why cant load Rapps. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 15, 2021 Administrators Share Posted September 15, 2021 Go to the System Information page, on the Rapp panel  menu change retries to 5 then reboot from the interface - important to do it from the interface and not just pull the power. Then wait 2 minutes before accessing and everything should load
Jacques
Thanks the Rapp tip. The slow down problem came up again with disabled QoS: https://www.speedtest.net/result/12046069813 Â

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 26, 2021 Administrators Share Posted September 26, 2021 Yes exactly, also disable IPv6 in WAN and LAN - do the speeds then increase?
Jacques
I turned off IPv6 both place. But I had to reboot the device. Jacques
OK, I have a high ping now. What should I turn back on? Edit: After MODEM restart I get this result: http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest/69625224 Im thinking if this problem cannot solved, I have an old TP-Link router not in used. How should I configure R1 behind this TP-Link router. I dont need all of the features exept Geo-Filter. TP-Link router will handle phones on wifi, and my wired laptop... the R1 will be between TP-Link and Xbox One X. I will make a factory reset on R1, turn off all features (Upnp, QoS, Port forwarding... etc, only wanna use Geo-Filter). Where and what can I configure on R1? Edit 2: I dont understand it. This is another test result after test of built in connection benchmark: https://www.speedtest.net/result/12095695523
