im having issues with mine as well. probably going to have to factory reset it for the 4TH TIME. i was trying to port forward and i disabled upnp and all of a sudden ALL my games have ping problem and one game wont even connect at all. I reset it to default and still it persists. take the connection directly from modem to ps4. works perfect. for such an expensive product. EXTREMELY FAULTY. on top of 5 days with no reply from the developers who made it

How do you have your Geo-filter configured? What was the reasoning for port forwarding and disabling UPnP? Are you having NAT issues?

Also where have you posted that's resulted in 5 days of no response? Let me know and I'll look into it.

Could you provide a screenshot of your Connection Benchmark results as well as of your Congestion Control please?

Results look pretty good. What is your exact physical setup? Do you have a pure modem (no wifi) or a modem/router (wifi)? Are ALL devices connected to the router?

I have a modem/router and R2 is in DMZ, and wifi turned off - (Modem/Router)
All devices connected to R2 with Wifi on.

When someone downloads something though, i get huge ping spikes as if Qos isnt working.

What is the modem/router model? Turn UPnP and the firewall off on that if possible as well please. Do you use Always for Congestion Control all the time?

Have you got anything else added to Traffic Prioritization? A device downloading shouldn't have an affect. Have you used the DMZ or port forwarding at all?

What port forwarding rules did you add? What is the device that he is downloading from?

Added the basic ones

  • TCP: 80, 443, 3478, 3479, 3480.
  • UDP: 3478, 3479.
    He was using his Xbox

Like this -
Says they are using 12mbps but at the bottom they are using almost half of the bandwidth

Thanks for that, it's very odd that is doesn't seem to be adhering to QoS properly. A few things, could you ensure IPv6 is disabled in WAN/LAN settings and also give the Xbox less bandwidth in Bandwidth Allocation - Devices - then disable share excess and see if that stops it please.
